This is the fastest delivery I have ever received from ordering anything on line — not just candles. Others have noted this in their reviews as well, so it is not a fluke — it is how this candle company delivers. Since fast and accurate, well wrapped shipping to me indicates good customer service, as well as pride in one’s products, and efficiency in how one handles orders, I give this company an A plus on that. Here, judge for yourself: the company is based in Michigan and I live in Massachusetts; I placed my order online on Saturday, July 8 and received my package on Tuesday, July 11. I wanted another tart burner and saw a lovely one on the Brown Bag website — a soft, sky blue, fat pottery one with baskets of bright red apples tumbling out onto the ground. Just painted my small kitchen a sort of Federal blue color and I think this tart burner will look great in the Fall on a kitchen counter. The other thing I liked was that for $14, the lovely, good sized tart burner included 10 tea lights for the burner, as well as the scent choice of 6 tarts to melt in it. This would be a super house-warming or shower gift, I think, as it has all you need to start scenting. The tarts I ordered smell wonderful cold. I have been wanting to try Apples and Oak since Dawn mentioned that scent a while back in one of her excellent reviews. I got two tarts of the 6 in that scent and also 1 tart each in Uplifting, Georgia Sunrise, Southern Home and Blackberry Sage. All are individually shrink wrapped to keep each scent separate until used , which I also like. Kathy also included 2 free tarts — which are very much appreciated; they are in her new scents, Cleopatra and Florida Sunrise. All are in great colors that compliment their designated scent name. I also decided to bite the bullet and order from her a Cleancut Wick Trimmer/Dipper set for $12.00. I am tired of chipping wax as I would dig to trim a wick. I have a gorgeous art deco candle snuffer I bought several years ago, so now I really feel “professionally candle smart” with all my wicking and snipping taken care of, instead of using my old kitchen scissors in a hit or miss fashion. The wick dipper is the usual long shape and a good weight but the candle wick trimmer is exceptionally well made — heavy metal and with a slight “tray” on one end of the clippers, to catch the wick before it falls into the candle you are trimming. All in all, I am extremely pleased with the prices, quality of products, and fast delivery from Brown Bag Candles and thank all who reviewed this company for letting me know about it on Candlefind.
