I just bought a Bridgewater – found it on a 70% off Christmas clearance sale yesterday at a seasonal store. They are only open for business during the holidays and are closing down shop, so the candles aren’t available any other time. I checked the website and there are no local retailers. I bought a harvest pear and it’s REALLY a much better throw than I would have expected. It’s melting pretty quickly and evenly so far (I’m just trying it now but was so excited I couldn’t wait until I was finished to post!)….It’s a really pretty scent that I can actually smell in the house, but it’s not overpowering (though I don’t mind overpowering)….I’m planning to order one or two more of these to try before I really decide to be inlove with them (I’m more into soy at the moment) but they are an awesome alternative to Yankee candles, which I’ve now completely ruled out because I can’t smell them at all. My Bridgewater seems to be burning pretty cleanly too – it only ‘soots’ when I disturb the flame by moving the candle on the counter or something, which any candle seems to do. I’ll re-post if I try any more, but since we were light on Bridgewater candle reviews (seems most use their tarts), I wanted to offer at least this one.
