I received one of these candles in the Havana scent and have enjoyed it, though I can’t say I’d buy one for myself (at least, not in this scent). The scent throw is medium and different than any candle I’ve ever smelled, but it’s a scent I wouldn’t want to smell all of the time. It’s hard to describe what exactly it smells like. My aunt who got it for me, remarked that to her it smells like “an old billiards room”, whatever that smells like. It has a kind of fragrant, sweet tobacco-y thing happening with perhaps a dash of a leathery scent. It is for sure the most ‘manly’ candle I’ve ever smelled. Perhaps more manly than I like, and I’m a man (a gay one, but a man nonetheless). It’s burned for a long time, though no matter how long I leave it burning, I can not get it to reach the edges of the jar. I suppose it isn’t supposed to. The jar is sure nice and fancy. It’s a very “handsome” candle. I’d recommend it to an older distinguished gentleman who doesn’t think they like candles. Just not for me. My Mom got one in the “Chocolate” scent which is an off white color and doesn’t smell a thing like chocolate. It smells nice, but how anyone could ever think it smells like chocolate is beyond me. Interesting candles and I may one day try a scent that is more my taste. I’ll get back to you all on that.
