What did my candle smell like?
There are some fragrances I don’t even hesitate to purchase and Blueberry Lemonade happened to fall in that category. Any scent that has “lemonade” in the name gets thrown into my cart without even reading the description – game over. I LOVE lemonade scents. It’s just a happy fragrance to me. It’s summery, vibrant, clean, fresh and always puts a smile on my face.
Blueberry Lemonade is described as:
Sun ripened blueberries combine with white sugar, juicy citrus and freshly squeezed lemonade.
Mmmm!! Smelling the wax for the first time, I smiled from ear to ear. I detected sweet blueberries along with luscious and tart sugary lemonade. The overall scents was tangy and absolutely perfect!! The aroma was also pretty strong based off cold sniff so I had high hopes this candle would give a strong scent throw…. crossing fingers.
Want to add… I loved the color of this candle. The wax was a bright and almost dark florescent blue. I could already imagine how pretty it would be burning.
I lit this candle in my master bedroom, a pretty large room to start out and ended up leaving it there from start to finish. It took a good 30 minutes for the aroma to really start traveling through my bedroom and once it did… Mmmm!! The fragrance smelled exactly as it did when I first smelled the wax… a tangy lemonade with the perfect touch of blueberries. LOVED!! And just as I imagined… this candle was gorgeous to watch burn. Once the candle reached a full melt pool, the wax glowed bright blue.
How did my candle burn?
My candle burned perfect. I did have to continuously keep both wicks trimmed throughout the day or the flames would get out of hand but wick maintenance like that is pretty normal. My candle burned clean and even from beginning to end.
Closing to my review:
This was a great fragrance and one I’ll for sure purchase again. If you love fresh lemonade scents, this is a must try and I do recommend it to all citrus lovers out there. I’m not seeing it on Goose Creek’s scent list right now but I’m hoping it makes a comeback.
Goose Creek has some amazing sales and often so be sure to catch one of their sales should you decide to give this scent a try. Be careful though…. they are super hard to resist.
