First Impression of Salted Caramel?

Salted Caramel from White Barn was another lucky purchase at Bath & Body Works once a year $8.95 sale. I really scored big that day. WOOT!! Boy oh boy did this candle smell AMAZING!!!!

Bakery fans… this scent is positively YUMMY!!!!! I’m talking drool worthy delicious! Here is the scent description from the bottom of the candle:

Salted Caramel, Roasted chestnuts, caramelized sugar, spiced rum.

This scent is everything the above description boasts. All of it!! Buttery and salted caramel, caramelized sugar and yes, even roasted chestnuts and all blended to perfection. Spiced rum? Not sure I smelled that but I was perfectly fine with that. What I could smell was mouthwatering just as it was.

Time to light my candle!

I lit this candle in my master bedroom where it stayed till the very end. Once the wicks were lit, it took minutes before the aroma was moving through my bedroom and oh my goodness…. HEAVEN!! I smelled buttery caramel wrapped in caramelized sugar with hints of chestnuts wafting all throughout my bedroom. It was decadent and an aroma you’ll want to eat with a tall glass of milk. Those are my favorite kind of bakery scents, the kind you can actually visualize in real form, and eating like a dessert.

Strength – I would rate this candle an 8 in a large room. 10 in medium to smaller rooms. Loved the scent throw.

How did my candle burn?

I’m pleased to say this candle performed perfect. No wick issues. Clean burning from start to finish.

Closing to my review:

I can’t end this review without telling you how pretty this candle was. The vessel itself was this gorgeous metallic bronze with a unique lid that reminded me of a white and gray marble stone. The contrast was very unusual. The scent…. scrumptious!! A scent I will for sure purchase again. Just imagine sweet and buttery caramel with caramelized sugar topped with roasted chestnuts. Mmmm!!! That’s all I have to say.
