First impression of Mineral Springs:

Let’s start out with the scent description for Mineral Springs:

Soothing mineral water, night blooming water lily, dash of lime.

This was an interesting and refreshing scent. First impression, the wax smelled like a light and invigorating body splash. Not really a heavy perfume but something more watered down if that makes sense. I didn’t really detect lime so this scent was probably mineral water (whatever that is) and blooming lily. If the lime was there, I’m hoping it comes out once the candle is burning.

Time to find out!

I lit this candle in my master bedroom and boy was the fragrance perfect in a large room. Once the wicks were lit, it took minutes before the aroma was traveling throughout my bedroom and it smelled exactly as it did when I first popped off the lid… a refreshing body splash. After burning this candle for several days, I still had a hard time picking out the 3 elements in the scent description to what I was actually smelling. I didn’t detect lime at all and it didn’t really smell floral either. It just smelled like a refreshing body splash that had a teeny masculine vibe. It was super fresh and a perfect scent to brighten your home.

Strength – I would rate this candle an 8 out of 10 in a large room. 10+ in medium to smaller rooms. Great scent throw.

How did my candle burn?

This candle burned great. No wick issues. Clean burning from beginning to end.

Closing to my review:

Mineral Springs from White Barn was a refreshing scent that reminded me of a light and airy body splash. It’s the only thing I can think of to really describe it, and I think this is one of those scents you really need to experience yourself to really appreciate it. Definitely check this candle out next time you’re near a Bath & Body Works store.
