Why You Should Trust Us

Candlefind has been in business since 2003 as a labor of love and dedication. Throughout the years, we have tested hundreds of candles and wax melts, standardizing our processes along the way. This assures that we test products in similar ways to give our insight to what you might expect in your home. We test every single product we review or endorse on our site. We never have (and never will) accept money, products, or gifts in exchange for a positive review. We are avid candle and wax melt lovers who have made reviewing them our business.

This post may contain affiliate links. This means that if you click through one of them and make a purchase, Candlefind may receive a small commission, at no additional cost to you. It is your ongoing support that helps make Candlefind successful, and for that we are thankful.

We do love the interesting blends that Bath & Body Works creates for their candles. That’s why we had to jump all over Pumpkin Peanut Brittle when it hit the floors again. It is one that will come and go with the Fall season…sometimes. If it is one that you love or want to try, we suggest you grab it up while you can!

Who Is Pumpkin Peanut Brittle For?

This is for gourmand and bakery scent lovers. If you prefer more warm scents, this would be a good one. Definitely if you love caramel and peanut/salty scents. It is great for Fall and Winter seasons.

This is a strong candle fragrance, so if you like your candles to blow the doors off, look for this one.

What did we test?

This candle was their 3-wick candle, which is stated to weigh in at 14.5 ounces. This particular year’s version had cartoonish type of font and a picture of pumpkins and peanuts on the light brown label. The fragrance notes were on the bottom lid and read: Crunchy Caramel Brittle, Salty Peanuts, Toasted Pumpkin Seeds.

The wax was a light, caramel brown color with an orangish hue. There was a silver lid for the top – nice, but nothing special.

What did we like about Pumpkin Peanut Brittle?

What didn’t we love about this candle? It was absolutely mouthwatering! It had just the right mix of sweetness and saltiness, with the caramel being more on the sweet side. We did not smell a bunch of spices that you would normally get with pumpkin candles. It was perfection!
B&BW Pumpkin Peanut Brittle Candle
The candle had a pretty strong fragrance and a fantastic scent throw. It filled all the rooms it was tested in and the scent traveled well. The burn was very even and we had a nice, deep melt pool.

What didn't we like about Pumpkin Peanut Brittle?

We will always harp on the price because we remember when the 3-wick candles just weren’t so expensive. The price has steadily gone up over the years and that does have us a bit bummed. But you can find these candles on sale throughout the year and there is the option of B&BW coupons.
The candle was a super fast burner, which makes the price tag sting even more. We got about 30 hours from this candle, and that was burning it down to the very last drop. We did make wax melts out of the last bit of wax to make sure we got our money’s worth.

  • Roasted Sesame, Bath & Body Works If you are looking for that sweet/salty mix, many swear this candle fragrance is the same as Pumpkin Peanut Brittle.
  • Gramma Nut, Goose Creek Candles This one is no longer on the website, but if you find one on Mercari or somewhere, snatch it up. The scent profile is almost identical.
