Candlefind's Mother's Day Shopping Guide

Happy Mother’s Day, our candle loving friends! Whether you’ve been stuck at home due to the pandemic, or just plain forgot (gasp) – today is the day of special recognition for all wonderful mothers you know and love. If you haven’t made your gift purchase yet, there is still time to recover. Candle egift cards make excellent Mother’s Day gifts, either for yourself or that special mom in your life. The terms and conditions for gift cards vary from company to company, so be sure to read the fine print before hitting add to cart. Here is our run-down of our recommendations for candle gift card shopping:

Yankee Candle Gift Cards

The eGift cards from Yankee Candle are an easy choice, and one of our go-to candle gifts. While they do have physical gift cards you can order, if you’re in a pinch, be sure to choose the email gift card for almost instant delivery. You are able to choose among various gift card designs, or you can even upload your own photo. The standard choices are $10, $25, $50, $75, $100, or $250. If those standard gift card amounts don’t work for you, you’re able to select your own amount. The gift cards will then be delivered to your recipient and they are able to shop right away! These cards are redeemable in store, online, or over the phone. As with most gift cards, they are not able to be used towards the purchase of other gift cards or for previously purchased items. These gift cards do not expire, which is one of our reasons for loving these so much.

K. Hall Studio Gift Cards

We are HUGE fans of K. Hall Studio, so we were pleased to learn that they now offer gift cards for purchase! For these gift cards, personalization is limited – you are only able to select from a handful of “themes,” including a General theme that would work for a Mother’s Day gift. The amount choices are also limited. As of this writing, you are able to select $25, $50, or $100, which can only be used for online purchases. The gift cards from here are valid for 365 days from the date of purchase, so we suggest purchasing it on the same day that you want to gift it to your recipient. Also, set up reminders in your calendar to alert them to use that gift card before expiration. As we’ve always suspected, it has been well documented that several hundreds of thousands of gift cards go unclaimed every year.

Kringle Gift Cards

Kringle Candle Company has a good option for egift cards, should you want to gift from this shop. Almost unheard of, they are offering a 10% discount on gift card purchases over $75! Your gift card receipient still gets the full purchase price of the gift certificate – sweet! If claiming this offer, be sure to include giftcard10 at checkout. The selections are $10, $25, $50, $75, or $100. If these don’t fit the bill, you can purchase more than one of these to make up the amount you’re wanting. Although you aren’t able to personalize the design, you are able to send a personalized gift message. For these gift cards, the code and information will be sent directly to you, the purchaser. Once opening and viewing the gift card, you are able to send the gift card link to your giftee. That’s a little around-the-way to give a gift card, but overall it’s not too bad. The cards are to be redeemed online, but they can also be printed and redeemed at the retail store in Bernardston, Massachusetts, or the Kringle Emporium in Springfield at MGM. These gift cards do not have an expiration date attached to them.

Candles Off Main

If you’re looking to gift luxury candles, look no further than Candles Off Main. They have a number of different luxury candle brands for sale, and they have candle egift card options, too! There is no direct link we could find to their gift card selections, so just input the words “gift card” into the search box at top. The selections are limited ($25, $50, or $100), but you are able to purchase multiples to get your desired price point. The gift cards are for use online, but can also be redeemed in store or over the phone. They are valid for 1 year from the date of purchase. You can personalize the gift message but not the design of the card itself. The gift card code will be mailed to the person you’re gifting. Easy. Peasy.

Scents & Sprays

If you find your options for luxury candles too limited at Candles Off Main, try your hand at Scents & Sprays. They also offer up several luxury candle brands and the ability to purchase gift cards. There are limited “themes” for selection, but there is a General theme that would work for most occasions. What we really like about these gift cards are you can enter your own dollar amount – anything from $1 to $1000. Want to buy a $77 gift card? Go for it! These cards do not have an expiration date attached and can be used only online.

P.F. Candle Company

The luxry candles from P.F. Candle Company are a true treat, and the gift cards are sure to be a big hit. Look to the bottom of their page under “Shop” and you will find a link to access their gift card selections. The options for purchase are $25, $50, $75 or $100, and you are able to purchase multiples to meet your needs. The cards can be redeemed online and do not expire. If you want the gift card sent directly to your giftee, be sure to include their email in the checkout stage. Otherwise, you will get the email with the code yourself, and then you can forward it to whomever you want.

Colonial Candle

Choose Colonial Candle egift cards if you want to give someone a variety of options within the same company. They have a number of different lines, seemingly something for everyone! Though you can’t set a custom amount, the choices here are plentiful: $10, $15, $25, $30, $50, $75, or $100. These gift cards are to be used online and do not have an expiration date attached.

Votivo

We have a crush on the affordable luxury candles from Votivo, so we’re putting a plug in for their gift card options. They have a limited selection ($50, $100, or $200) and the gift cards do expire one year after purchase. Use these gift cards online to get some great smelling candles!

Hopefully with the options listed above, you find a great place (or two) to nab a candle gift card for Mother’s Day. And hey…if you’re a mother, there is no reason you can’t treat yourself. Go ahead…you deserve it.

Happy Mother’s Day!
