A Closer Look at Sunset Scents
This company has some similar fragrances, but they are all unique to this company. They have vibrant colors and a paraffin based wax with super long-lasting burns.
Life is meant to be enjoyed and at Sunset Scents we live life to the fullest. We work hard, play harder and strive to be the very best in the industry.
Products Offered
The diamond pattern glass container jars are the main attraction here, offered in both a medium (16 oz) and large (26 oz) size. They also carry tealights and container jar votives, including a votive sampler set. If you don’t want to light a flame, you can choose from their scent solutions oils, scent sticks, or their scent bursts. If that isn’t enough, they have monthly specialty candles that they rotate out.
Fall Leaves
The scent description reads: Musky notes of Musk, Jasmine, and Sandalwood
The fragrance itself is deep and warm, reminding one of everything that is good in the Fall. There are notes of jasmine listed in the scent description, but I didn’t detect that at all. Mostly sandalwood wrapped up in musk. A really strong fragrance without being overpowering. It had a fantastic throw.
Ginger Lime
Ok, this candle was easily my favorite. Hands down, nothing but goodness. Another medium sized candle, also green but lighter and brighter than Fall Leaves. This candle was full of energizing zest and filled my home with scented goodness easy peasy. Another slow burning candle, which I also truly appreciated.
The scent description reads: Tangy notes of Lime, Ginger, and Lemongrass
This is more of a “harsh” fruity fragrance – it is not drippy and sweet. It is more of a bold, energizing fragrance that is perfect to motivate you for, say, a full day of housecleaning. Light this one up and prepare to be mesmerized.
Hey, Sweet Pea
My Hey, Sweet Pea candle was in the large jar, also with 2 wicks. It was a pretty soft lavendar color that did have me longing for spring. I lit this one up and soon got the feeling I was in a fresh blooming garden. Amazing!
The scent description reads: Sweet notes of Raspberry, Sweet Pea, and Lilies
To me this fragrance was all floral and all good. Even the non-floral fans in this house agreed…this one is a winner. I will say that I was hoping for a bit more scent strength from this candle. It did throw well, especially with the larger jar size, but the fragrance was not as strong as I would have liked.
Pineapple Coast
The last candle that I tested with a medium sized Pineapple Coast scent. I was taken away by a fruity explosion of juicy pineapple notes. Sweet and tangy at the same time – pineapple perfection!
The scent description reads: Delightful notes of Pineapple, Orange, and Peach
This is a great fragrance for spring and summer, but really for anytime of the year. the pineapple goodness was simple but spot on. Again, not as strong as I expected for a pineapple fragrance, but it was no dud, that’s for sure. It really did a great job scenting up the open area it was burning in, and for hours!
