It's a children's book called The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein. It's beautifully written with simple line drawings. It's about all of the things that this tree gives to the boy throughout his life, and how the tree loves the boy and is happy to give until it has nothing left but a stump to sit on when the boy is an old man. "And the tree was happy" I just happen to have that one.

I had five YC Coconut Bay votives going yesterday and got nothing. Then today, I relit two of them just to clear out my votive holders, and voila I can finally smell coconutty goodness. What's up with that? Sorry about the Pineapple flop.

Cheryl - 35? Way to go. I'm afraid to count mine. For me, the candles came before the melts, and they are still here. I love them all. I try to use up some inventory, but then I feel like I need to replace them. It's so much fun. Hartshorn - Congratulations! Love YC Vanilla Lime too.

Melting SH Paradise this afternoon. It smells like the soft drink "Squirt". Very strong, but I like it.

momuvtwo regarding the PI Amaretto, I think this may have been my own sense of smell today. I have been melting this scent a couple of cubes at a time on and off all week. I may have just grown tired of it. I had been enjoying it prevously, but it started to smell synthetic and artificial. Perhaps because it was one I had melted last night and remelted today. I loved the cold sniff. It was the first scent I tried from my order. And I liked it initially. I may try it in a cooler temp melter, but not until at least next week.

Hi all, I started melting PI Amaretto this afternoon. It totally turned bad for me. I've got to dump it. SH Bit -o-Honey in the living room. btw I really miss snow.

Good Morning, I am burning candles today. Archipelago Botanicals - Bergamot Tobacco (very heavy, musky scent - no cig smell) Full Moon Candles - Sante Fe votive (Pinion tree , unique clean pine bark scent without the Holiday smells. No jingle bells with this pine.) YC Aloe Vera (again, it's a big jar, but it is sort of blue ish) after melting TS pink sugar all day yesterday, I needed something that was not sweet. Have a great day. I'll be here doing laundry. *sigh*

I'm cooking ham and bean soup with the Easter leftovers. Smells good on it's own. But not with my tropical morning. I changed scents to Barn Candles Special which is Apple, cinnamon, orange, etc. better combination. Tonight will be bodacious blueberry by Nene's.
