Intro To My Candle Review
This is my second review for Michigan Pure Soy Candles. My first introduction to them was Michigan White Pine, which I enjoyed quite a bit. Now up was White Peach Sangria – a perfect candle for the fast approaching end of summer. Considering how hectic things have been lately, I figured I could use a peach. And sangria. And a good candle. So I was ready to light this one up!
First Impressions of My Candle
This was another 10 ounce jar (which retails for $14.99 – I had an error in my first candle review). The clean, sleek look was the same with an easily removable label, if that’s your thing. It had that same loose black lid that I’m not too thrilled about – if handling these, just be sure not to grab it by the “mouth.”
That aside, how did it smell on cold sniff? FABULOUS! Ohmygoodness, I smelled sweet, juicy peaches right down to the fuzz. I couldn’t believe how delicious this smelled. I got a little hint of that booziness, but on cold sniff this was mostly about the peaches. It had a strong cold sniff, so I was anxious to get it going.

I went back to this to see if I could get the oranges. Nope. Just the peaches and a little bit of wine. Still it was yummy and I was ready to move on to the burn.
I burned this candle ou in a large, open living space. I did so even though this was a smaller candle based off the cold sniff alone. I thought it might be able to handle the larger space. I was right and more. It didn’t take long at all for this candle to start scenting up my open living area. It smelled wonderful! Just like a juicy peach that you squeeze to get the juice out. Can we say delicious?
The scent kept from being candy-sticky sweet because of the boozy, wine notes. Just a hint, but enough to do the trick. I’m still not sure I smelled any oranges while burning, but it didn’t really matter to me. This was one great scent & it was doing its job of helping me relax. The scent on this one was stronger than my Michigan White Pine candle. The peach notes definitely stood out. The throw was fantastic, as I could smell it walking down the hallway.
How Did My Candle Burn?
This was a VERY clean burning candle. I didn’t notice any black sooting the entire time I burned it, keeping it going several hours at times. I did end up with another small rim of wax, so I had to take that into account when rating performance. Other than that, though, this candle burn was flawless. It lasted a super long time, too…around the 50 hour mark.
Closing To My Candle Review
This was another great candle from Michigan Pure Soy Candles. I have one more to burn (review coming up soon), but I’ve been impressed so far. I can’t wait to try more. If you happen to love peach scents, this one is a great one to try. It’s not super sweet but juicy, authentic, and feels a little “grown up.” Try it & see what you think!
