Introduction to my Fresh Lemonade Scented Candle from White Barn Candle Co.

I really-really like White Barn Candles… I think their candles are strong, have great and popular scents (duplicated all over the place) and are very pleasing to look at. I don’t always like paying 20 bucks for a 14.5oz candle but in the big scheme of things, that’s really not a bad price and Bath & Body Works does have a lot of sales (definitely making it worthwhile). I don’t think I’ve ever walked by a Bath & Body Works store and not gone in to smell everything. When you’re addicted to scent, you’re addicted and you can’t help but be drawn to fragrance filled stores. Especially when they have their fragrance oils White Barn Candles Fresh lemonade scented candle review simmering and you can smell it out in the mall 50 feet away… it’s like a moth being drawn to a flame (I could use even more descriptive analogies but I think you get the picture.)

White Barn Candles can only be found at Bath & Body Works stores or online on the Bath & Body Works site. Scents vary seasonally but they always have their staple scents in their Real Essence line which are their rounded classic style jars. Their Real Essence line have been hit or miss for me. Some burn great with the scent strong and then some are not so great. I would say that’s pretty typical with any company. I LOVE their True Temptations line though, which are generally bakery or fruity scents that are very realistic when it comes to the fragrance and are strongly scented. I don’t think I’ve tried a candle from their True Temptation line yet that hasn’t fragranced several rooms. Maybe the three wicks has something to do with it?

I’m always browsing the B&BW site and when I saw Fresh Lemonade, it was mine! I’m so glad I bought it because it was a wonderful and tart lemon scent!

What did my Fresh Lemonade Candle Like?

I love the look of their True Temptation jars. I like simple and classic and think these personify that look. The glass jar is a straight style jar with a shiny flat chrome lid. The label is yellow to match the yellow wax color and is easily peeled off which is really nice for those who don’t like labels on the face of their candles. This candle had three wicks which ensured an even complete burn.

How did my Fresh Lemonade candle from White Barn Smell?

There was no hesitation buying this candle and at full price to boot which I usually never do. My “MO” is to wait for a sale but when I read “Fresh Lemonade” on their scent list, two immediately went into my cart. I had a feeling if I hesitated, they’d be out of stock and I was right. by the time this review posts, they’ll be back in stock or are still available in their stores (which I think they are). My BBW is kind of far so online shopping is my avenue to get these candles. Here’s the scent description:“A refreshing blend of zesty lemon, grapefruit and sugar with crushed ice and a sprig of mint.”

When I opened the lid to smell this candle for the first time, my mouth literally watered at the tart and zestiness of the fragrance. It was strong just smelling this candle unlit! I love lemonade scents and purchase this type of fragrance everywhere it’s offered. I don’t think I’ve found one I haven’t liked yet and would say the majority are a sweet and sugary lemon, typical of this classic drink. White Barns version (to my nose) was not really your average lemonade scent and I’m pretty sure it was because of the grapefruit. I could smell the tart lemon (which I loved!) but I could also make out the grapefruit very White Barn Candles, Fresh Lemonade scented candle review, Grapefruit clearly and that gave it such a unique twist. This was a very authentic fragrance exactly as described in the description… minus the sprig of mint… I couldn’t really smell that. They could have totally called this scent Grapefruit Lemonade… perfect blend of both!!

This candle is SUPER strong! I started this candle in my bedroom and within 10 minutes, the fragrance saturated that room plus the entire upper level of my house. I had to shut off the melts I had going in my great-room, this candle was that strong.

I highly recommend this scent if you’re a lemon or citrus lover like me. And if you manage to nab one, I hope you love your candles on the strong side because this really is one powerful candle!!

How did my Fresh Lemonade Candle burn?

My candle burned evenly & completely to the bottom with no waste. Definitely keep your wicks trimmed or the flames can get out of hand.

Overall opinion of my Fresh Lemonade Candle from White Barn Candle Co:Loved this scent! If the B&BW site restocks it, I plan to order several just to keep on hand. I love lemony/citrus scents and Fresh Lemonade from White Barn definitely quenched that craving I always have for a good citrus candle White Barn Candles, Fresh lemonade scented candle review during the summer.

I highly recommend White Barn candles…. for a mass produced candle… these really deliver scent & style and are available in a pinch if you live close to a store. Citrus lovers… this is an excellent scent! I hope you can nab one given the chance.
