First impression of Whipped Pumpkin Latte:

Whipped Pumpkin Latte was an interesting fragrance. It didn’t really smell like a latte, which is what I was expecting… it instead smelled more like a spicy pumpkin puree.

Here is the scent description I pulled from Swan Creek’s website:

Notes of pumpkin spice, mild cream with notes of cinnamon and nutmeg- there’s no waiting in line for this but we cannot serve it iced.

Nice description, and now I know what’s in this scent – spicy pumpkin, cream, cinnamon and nutmeg. Smelling the wax, my nose picked up on pumpkin spice the most with maybe hints of cinnamon. I didn’t really detect cream or nutmeg but that’s okay… maybe those two elements will come to life once the candle is burning.

I decided to stay conservative and light this candle in a small bathroom to start out and that’s where it stayed till the very end. Once the wick was lit, it took a good hour or so to reach a full melt pool but the scent was present long before that and it smelled SO delicious!! My entire bathroom smelled like a spicy pumpkin cream. The cream in the scent description definitely made its presence known once the candle was lit and it was super yummy!! So, here is what I smelled… spicy and creamy pumpkin with notes of cinnamon on a bed or sweet cream. YUM!!!! Loved this candle.

Strength – I would rate this candle an 8 out of 10 in a small room. 5/6 in a medium size room so if you want to try it, go for melts or burning 2 candles at once for maximum scent throw.

How did my candle burn?

This candle burned perfect. Zero wick issues. Clean burning from start to finish.

Closing to my review:

If you love creamy pumpkin scents with a hint of spice, Whipped Pumpkin Latte from Swan Creek has your name written all over it. It surprised Best scented candle me. I kind of went into this review thinking… meh… I could take it or leave it and ended up loving it. Will for sure purchase this scent again, in candle and drizzle melts.
