First impression of Walnut Coffee Cake:
For Every Body is a hard brand to find these days. Kohl’s used to be the main store to carry this brand and then they just went poof into thin air. Did they go out of business? I don’t know but it’s looking like it. Lucky me though… I walked into a Joann’s craft store to pick up some paper and found a big display of For Every Body candles. Guess what I walked out of the store with? Yep. Candles and lots of them.
Walnut Coffee Cake was one of the scents I nabbed and boy did this candle smell amazing!! Good enough to eat amazing, and I wish I had a scent description to post with this review but I couldn’t find one. First impression, the wax smelled like a doughy cinnamon bread. I didn’t really smell walnuts or coffee. Just a warm bakery with a hint of spice. So far so good.
I lit this candle in a small bathroom to start out where it stayed from beginning to end. Once the wick was lit, it took a good hour or more to reach a full melt pool and the aroma from then on out pretty much stayed the same… a warm and doughy cinnamon bread. I never really detected walnuts of coffee. Even so, it was still quite yummy so no regrets purchasing this one.
Strength – on a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate this candle a 7 in a small room. Not a huge room filler but perfect for small spaces.
This candle burned great. No wick issues. Clean burning from start to finish. I just had to stay on top of wick trimming before each lighting.
Closing to my review:
For Every Body isn’t an easy brand to find any more so should you run across any… go smell a few. I guarantee you’ll end up purchasing some if you love bakery scents.
Happy candle hunting!
