First impression of Vanilla Bean Butterscotch:
For 2019, ScentSational’s has put out some spectacular scents, and Vanilla Bean Butterscotch may turn out to be one of the better ones. Butterscotch pops out the second you open the lid and boy is it creamy and sugary. The vanilla is there too and it’s just plain yummy.

Vanilla Bean Butterscotch fragrance is just like visiting grandma’s house! This fragrance features scrumptious hints of smooth vanilla bean, swirled with creamy butterscotch, hints of caramel and frosted buttercream accents sweetened with a tantalizing touch of pure sugarcane.
My grandma’s house never smelled like that but mine will now thanks to the world of scented wax! That is a great description and matches this fragrance pretty closely. I can smell the butterscotch first and foremost with vanilla, caramel and sugar coming in a close second. This scent is very sweet and super bakery. The buttercream? Oh, I hope so!

Melting Vanilla Bean Butterscotch:
I used the entire clamshell pack in two electric melters in my great room. Once melting, it didn’t take long before the aroma was moving through my living room and it smelled pretty close to how it did on cold sniff, with a slight difference. Vanilla definitely stood out the most as the base of this scent. Butterscotch came next although not as sugary as I hoped. Caramel and buttercream? If there, it was kind of hard to detect. To me, this fragrance was all vanilla and butterscotch – a perfect blend of the two. Honestly, I think cold sniff smelled slightly better, or maybe that is my imagination playing tricks on me. Who knows. All I can say is, if you love butterscotch aroma’s, this is a definite must try.
Strength – I would rate Vanilla Bean Butterscotch an 8 out of 10 in a really large room. 10 in medium to smaller rooms. This fragrance wasn’t knock your socks off strong but gave a nice and steady medium throw in a large room. I was happy.
Vanilla Bean Butterscotch is a limited addition scent so if you wanted to give it a try, don’t wait too long. It will probably retire by summers end.
