First impression of Vanilla Bean:

Vanilla is definitely in my top 5 of favorite scents and that includes pretty much all variations and blends. I LOVE sweet vanilla scents (a lot) so when I saw Vanilla Bean from White Barn, I knew I wanted to review it. The moment I popped off the lid, mmm!! Sweet and creamy vanilla perfection.

Here is the scent description from the bottom of the candle:

A remarkably luxurious vanilla takes on a new sophistication with layers of sparkling sugar crystals and a hint of fresh cream.

YUM!! Smelling the wax, vanilla cream all the way. Sweet as can be. My mouth was watering with this one.

Time to find out how this candle performs!

I lit this candle in my master bedroom so I could fully enjoy the aroma and came back 20 minutes later to the most delicious scent of a rich and creamy vanilla. I didn’t really detect the sugar or cream. To me, this aroma was a classic vanilla bean all the way – very much like Bath & Body Works Vanilla Bean Noel. This scent reminded me of that… pure and sweet.

Strength – on a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate this candle a 7 in a large room. 8+ in a medium to smaller rooms. It wasn’t room saturation strong but gave a nice and steady medium throw. So, if you want a super strong aroma, I would stick to medium or smaller rooms with this one.

How did my candle burn?

This candle burned perfect. Zero wick issues (YEAH!!) and it burned clean and even from start to finish.

Closing to my review:

I’m a sucker for a good vanilla so I really enjoyed Vanilla Bean and would totally purchase it again. Vanilla lovers… this one’s a keeper. Just imagine a smooth vanilla that wasn’t too sweet but a perfect balance of vanilla bean and sweet cream. Mmm!!!!
