First impression of Vampire Blood:
Super cute candle! Blood red wax, cute labeling with fun Halloween illustrations. See picture above. I loved it!
I don’t review many Halloween candles these days but this one I couldn’t resist purchasing. The scent… Vampire Blood. You would think yuck, right? Not so with this candle… it smelled like sweet and delicious berries with a hint of a sophisticated floral in the background.

Blood red strawberry, midnight blooming jasmine, dark Transylvanian Plum.
Strawberry – check! Plum – check! Midnight blooming jasmine? Yep! I smelled that too although very lightly. I couldn’t wait to light the wicks. That’s when all the dark and delicious flavors come to life.

I lit this candle in my master bedroom to start out where it stayed till the very end. Once the wicks were lit, it took the average 20 minutes to reach a full melt pool and the aroma… I must admit, I really liked this scent. It wasn’t your average plum or strawberry aroma and I attribute that to the added Midnight Blooming Jasmine. The floral component added a really sophisticated flair to the mix and it was really pretty. I could smell it all… the strawberry, plum and floral blended perfectly.
Vampire Blood? If it smells like this – sure, I’ll take some.
Strength – I would rate this candle a 7 out of 10 in a really large room. 10 in medium to smaller rooms. Not bad overall.
How did my candle burn?
This candle burned perfect. No wick issues. Clean burning from start to finish.
Closing to my review:
I must say, I’m not a fan of floral scents but I really enjoyed this fragrance. The main part to this aroma was definitely strawberry and I think that’s 
why I tolerated the jasmine so well. Any time floral is mixed with fruity scents, it softens the floral component and turns the overall scent into something really pretty.
I think Vampire Blood from Bath & Body Works will please both fruity and floral lovers alike. Go smell this candle next time you’re at a one of their stores. I don’t see it listed on their website but I’m sure it’s at stores.
