First Impression of Tropical Beauty:
Mixable fragrances from ScentSationals has always intrigued me. I enjoy mixing so this seemed like a fun thing to try. ScentSationals basically packages two of their scents they think are compatible and you decide from there how much blending you want to do. You can opt for none or 50% of whatever you want.
Tropical Beauty was a blend of Passion Fruit Coconut and Isla Bonita. I’ve tried Passion Fruit Coconut and loved it… it’s a very strong and fresh coconut. Isla Bonita I haven’t tried but the wax smelled like a tropical floral so blending these two will be perfect. I’ve found coconut and floral blend pretty well together.
Time to get melting!
Melting:
I used the entire clamshell pack in 2 electric melters in my great room. Each fragrance in the clamshell pack had 5 cubes in each row so I split them up 3/2 in each melter. Not a perfect 50/50 but close enough. Once melting, it literally took seconds before the fragrance started permeating my living room and oh my goodness…. the sweetest floral scent filled my great room. Just a FYI, by itself, Passion Fruit Coconut is pretty potent and I 
assumed would dominate over the floral. Not so. This scent was solid floral and it was sweet and very tropical. So strong, I could hardly detect the fresh coconut. I’m not a floral fan but this scent wasn’t bad at all. It was fresh and very aromatic.
Strength – on a scale of 1 to 10, this scent is a 10 in every room you could possibly have. It’s a room filler and then some! WOW!!
In closing, if you love sweet and fresh floral scents, definitely pick up Tropic Beauty Mixable melts next time you’re at Walmart. Or at least go smell it. I bet you’ll walk away with a few if not more.
