First Impression of Tahitian Nights:
What a beautiful fragrance this was. The moment I popped off the lid to smell the wax, I closed my eyes and just inhaled this one. It smelled like a sweet and airy floral scent. Not a heavy floral but fresh, and it was very-very pretty.

Just like a stroll, hand-in-hand, along the sand when dusk is at its most romantic—touched with sea salt, driftwood and a gentle breeze of lavender.

I don’t know what seafoam or deep ocean blooms smells like but I do know what lavender smells like and I didn’t detect a lick of that in this scent. To me, the wax smelled like a powdery and fresh floral so I’m guessing the Deep Ocean Blooms are at the heart of this aroma.
I’m intrigued. Now let’s see how this candle performs!
I stuck to a small bathroom to burn this candle in and boy was it strong. Once the wick was lit, it took a good 4 hours to reach a full melt pool but the aroma was moving through the room long before that and it smelled just as it did cold… a powdery fresh floral that literally captivated me till the very end. Fresh is really the only way to describe this fragrance. A bright and fresh floral that kind of reminded me of a clean and airy soap. I loved it!! I never did smell lavender. This scent was all Deep Ocean Blooms.
Strength – WOW!! This candle packed a punch and I was really impressed with that. I started this candle in my powder room and ended up moving it to a medium sized room where it stayed till the end. It gave the perfect and steady medium throw in a medium room. In a small room, it was knock your socks off strong.
I was very happy with this candle in all aspects.
How Did My Candle Perform?
This candle burned perfect and really slow so you definitely get your money’s worth with Yankee. Clean burning from start to finish… just make sure you keep that wick trimmed before each lighting.
Closing To My Review:
Loved Tahitian Nights from Yankee and will for sure purchase this candle again when I’m in the mood for something strong and fresh. The best part, this candle threw like crazy and I was able to burn it in my guest bedroom… a medium to large size room. WOO!!
If you love fresh florals, definitely check out this candle next time you’re near a Yankee store. Or just take a chance with their next sale.
