What did my candle smell like:
Sweet Melon is a pretty tough candle to find but it is doable on Ebay or Amazon. I really wish Yankee would come back with this
fragrance because it is da BOMB!!!! And seriously one of my favorite melon scents of all time. It’s sweet and mouthwatering. To me… a perfect melon scent. Here is the scent description:
“Cool slices of vine-ripened, sun-kissed Sweet melon delivered right from the farm.”
That description doesn’t really tell you much but let me just say, this scent is the perfect blend of honeydew, watermelon and cantaloupe and it’s seriously mouthwatering. Sweet and so summery. My entire family loves this one.
Strength – On a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate this candle a 6 which is pretty good for a Yankee candle. It scented my medium sized bathroom I had it burning it perfectly and even spilled outside the room a bit.
How did my candle burn?
My candle burned great. No issues. it did take a few hours to reach a full melt pool but once it did, easy sailing. Clean burning, no soot with my wick trimmed.
Closing to my review:
This is by far one of my favorite melon scents to this day and I really-really hope Yankee brings this one out of retirement someday. It’s that good!!

I’m a fan of this one too but can’t find it anymore. I like it so much more than their other melon scents. I don’t know why they stopped making it.
I love this fragrance and don’t understand why Yankee got rid of it. Does anyone know? It was the best. So sweet and fresh.
I remember this candle. A favorite I wish I could still purchase. I don’t know why Yankee retired it. It’s so much better than Fresh Watermelon.

My favorite scent from Yankee but sad they no longer make it.
This is one scent I would like to try! I really like fruity scents during spring. I will have to check it out during the next SAS at Yankee.
