Strawberry Cupcake Candle Review

First impression of Strawberry Cupcake:
I don’t know where the “Girl Power” comes in but this candle sure did smell like a Strawberry Cupcake. I smelled a sweet sugar cake with hints of strawberry candy. Very delicious and 100% yum!!
Here is the scent description from the bottom of the candle:
Juicy red strawberries, sparkling sugar, vanilla cake.
Mmmm!!! I’ll take two more please. This candle smelled exactly like the description. I could smell it all and it’s a scent you’ll be tempted to eat. I loved it! Now let’s see how this baby performs!!
I lit this candle in my master bedroom to start out and that ISN’T where it stayed till the very end. The fragrance was simply too light for a big room. So, I moved it to a medium room – and then soon after to a smaller one. Once I moved it to a small bathroom, the fragrance was nice, strong and definitely much better to my nose.
Once this candle found it’s perfect home… aaaaah! Strawberry cake heaven. My entire bathroom smelled like a sweet sugar cake with candied strawberries. It wasn’t super cakey but subtle with a perfect blend of sweet strawberry candy. Liked it! I just wish the candle would have been much stronger.
Which brings me to strength – I would rat this candle a 4 out of 10 in a large room. 6/7 in a medium and 10 in a small.
How did my candle burn?
This candle burned great the first half of the candle. Second half… the dreaded wick issue hit. One wick sputtered out, then two and then it was the dancing game getting them to stay lit. I very much dislike when that happens. ☹
Closing to my review:
Strawberry Cupcake was definitely a yummy scent and one I could easily see myself purchasing again but because it was so lightly scented, and it didn’t burn very well… I may have to pass. We’ll see. A candle that smells this yummy is always worth a second shot so if I do decide to purchase another down the road and I get a different
result… will report back and add to this review.
