First impression of Spiked Cherry Limesicle:
I’m not generally a fan of anything cherry but this candle smelled really good. Cherry scents in wax tend to smell like cough syrup to me but not this candle smelled sweet and sugary.
Here is the scent description from the bottom of the candle:
A blend of summer cherries, juicy Persian limes and sparkling sugar crystals that delivers happiness, like a cherry on top.
Sweet lime and sugar was definitely noticeable and really blended well with the cherry. This fragrance really did smell like a cherry lime slushy. YUM!! I liked! Now let’s see how this candle performs!
I lit this candle in my master bedroom and oh my goodness was that a perfect choice. Once the wicks were lit, it took the average 20 minutes to reach a full melt pool and the aroma… a sweet cherry and lime slushy scent filled my bedroom. It smelled just as it did cold sniff and it was perfect. The lime totally mellowed out the cherry leaving behind a perfect blend of the two. A plus… the cherry wasn’t fake or cough syrupy at all… it was sweet, tart and reminded me of cherry jolly ranchers.
Strength – I would rate this candle an 8 out of 10 in a really large room. 10 in medium to smaller rooms.
How did my candle burn?
This candle burned great. No wick issues. Clean burning from start to finish.
Closing to my review:
Spiked Cherry Limesicle was a perfect name for this fragrance… it smelled exactly like the description, so Bath & Body Works did a great job with this one. Will I purchase this candle again? Absolutely! It was summery, fun and very cheery. My whole family loved it. Plus, the red wax looked 
gorgeous to watch burn as the wax melted. That’s always part of the appeal to me with burning candles… watching them burn and seeing the wax change color.
Definitely give this scent a try if you love sweet cherry scents. And if you don’t see this candle listed on Bath & Body Works website, try one of their stores which tends to carry a lot more of their fragrances than online.
