Why Sparkle Candle Co.
I love browsing Etsy to find new-to-me candle and wax melt shops. I ran across Sparkle Candle Co. and saw they were having a special on wax melts – 6 clamshells for $23, which works out to less than $4 each. Given the rising costs of wax melts these days, I thought that this was as good a chance as any to dive in and try this company.

Ordering Process
The ordering process on Etsy was fairly easy. For the 6 wax melt special, I added that item to the cart then indicated which scents I wanted in the Notes To Seller on checkout. The available scents were outlined in the listing (including scent descriptions), so it made that part easy. I did make a note of what I wanted in a Word document, then I copy/pasted that information in the Notes section at checkout. The Fresh Cut Roses candle was a separate listing and easy to add to cart. Etsy has a number of ways to pay, so no problems there, either.
TAT
The turn-around-time was super fast here. I ordered on Tuesday and the order shipped out on Thursday. It arrived to me on Monday via USPS: 7 days.
Unboxing Experience
Everything was well packaged upon arrival. The clamshell wax melts were packaged 3 packs together and wrapped with a holiday kraft type paper. The candle was nestled inside with two layers of bubble wrap around it. The freebie was in a ziplock bag and included the business card with a handwritten note on the back. The note let me know what the freebie was, as there was no label on the tealight.
Impression of Individual Products
I was pleased with just about everything in my order. My only disappointment was Lemon Pound Cake – it was not as strong as I was expecting. The remainder were either moderately strong or strong. Almond Rum Cake & Fresh Linen were the strongest. Hansel & Gretel’s House was strong, too. Instead of burning the sample tealight, I removed the wax from the tealight cup and melted it in my warmer. Yum!

Final Thoughts
I was impressed with my order from Sparkle Candle Co. Most of the clamshell wax melts required 2 cubes to give me a good enough throw with a 24W melter. With my tealight melter, I was able to use 1 cube and got pretty good results. Overall, this was a really good order from Sparkle Candle Co., and I can definitely see myself coming back for more. The fast shipping, reasonable prices, and great quality of the products was a win-win for me.
