What did my candle smell like?
Let’s start off with the scent description:
You’re sure to grin with this blend of juicy meyer lemons, sun ripened raspberries and a hint of sugared pomegranate seeds.
When I first smelled the wax, it put an instant smile on my face. Basically, I love anything that has lemon in it and I double love lemonade scents… and this scent was filled with sweet, tart lemony goodness. Smelling the wax, it reminded me of sweet and tart pink lemonade and yeah, I could even make out the sugared pomegranate. Yum!!
I lit this candle in my master bedroom and once lit, it took about 20 minutes or so for the fragrance to really drift through every part of the room and what’s interesting… I fully expected to fall in love with the aroma and I didn’t. After a full day of burning, the overall scent turned out to be just an “okay” fragrance for me. I was expecting a tart and sweet lemonade but that’s not what this scent smelled like. The tart lemon was kind of lost in the mix. Instead, it smelled like a berry punch kind of fragrance. Nothing popped or stood out to me. I still thought it was a great scent… just not what I was expecting.
Strength – on a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate this candle a 6. It wasn’t super strong but gave a steady light to medium scent throw.
How did my candle burn?
The first half of my candle burned great. No issues. Once it got halfway down, the wicks fizzled out and the candle burned uneven. I ended up throwing half of it away. Bummer.
Closing to my review:
This was just an okay candle for me. I thought it smelled promising in the beginning but the scent once burning wasn’t what I was hoping for. Had the lemonade component shined through more, maybe I would have liked it more, hard to say. But I guess we can’t like everything, can we?
This candle also didn’t burn very well. All in all… I won’t be purchasing this fragrance again should it make a comeback.

How funny. I liked this candle. It smelled like sweet lemonade to me. I would purchase it again.
