I read a reviw of this candle company on the review board and when I looked it up I saw they had a scent, "Glazed Donuts" that was described as smelling like Krispy Kreme's honeydip donuts. There's 2 things I am addicted to -- scented candles and Krispy Kreme glazed donuts although, because of calories, I give in to candles more than donuts. I ordered 4 votives and a package of melts and waited to see if they would smell anything like a glazed donut. Order arrived within a week and well packed. When I opened the box the candles smelled so good and so accurate to a glazed donut smell thatI was tempted to take a bite. The melts melted perfectly with a good scent throw in my kitchen and the votive candle as well. It is great when a candle scent smells like the description you read when you ordered it. I would recommend this company and this scent, especially if you want to try something different.

I stumbled across this company with the help of Christina. I was on the search for a good blueberry scented candle. Christina had told me she heard they had a great blueberry cobbler. So I thought I would look them up. I read the reviews and thought I would try the tartberry twist, birthday cake, cinnabuns, blueberry cobbler(of course) and summer sorbet. I also bought their body spray and body butter in sweet talker( pink sugar dupe). When I got my package, the blueberry cobbler had somewhat melted and the whole box smelled scrumptious. I left the box in my living room as an air freshener. These candles smell awesome! I immediately put the spray and body butter on and I could smell it 6 hours later on my skin. Margie sent me 3 free tarts in key lime pie, nutty brown sugar, and liquid sunshine. They all smelled awesome. I immediately went back and ordered more candles. Margie told me that if her candles don't fill up two to three rooms with their scent, she doesn't sell them. I can't wait to burn them! She also sells these adorable 26oz. kettle candles. I'll keep you posted on how they burn. ************************* I burned the tarts Margie gave me and they are incredibly strong. The nutty brown sugar smelled really good(like I was baking). I especially like the liquid sunshine tart. It has that Gain detergant smell, which I love. This is my third day burning it and it still smell awesome. I reordered this in the 16oz jar also. I am now burning the birthday cake in the 16oz jar but I am not getting a great throw on it. It smells great cold - great almond cake smell, but the hot throw is a little disappointing. Still like this company - love the tarts! ******************** I'm burning the Cinnabun tarts right now and this is by far the best cinnamon roll scent I have come across. Not only do you smell the cinnamon but also the dough. Most to me just smell like cinnamon. Not this one! Very impressed and very strong throw on these tarts.

Fragrance - Summer Sorbet 16oz mason jar Cost: $12.00 plus shipping I decided to try this line of candles based off Carolyn of Candlefinds review on Tartberry Twist. I LOVE tart smelling candles so I had to give them a try. I purchased a bunch of different scents and decided to burn Summer Sorbet first. Three words, OH MY GOSH!! This candle is awesome. The best description I can give is to take a bowl full of watermelon, strawberries and other fruits and pack in the sugar... mix it all up and you have Summer Sorbet. It is a really sweet & fruity fragrance and so delicious!! You almost want to get a spoon and just dig into the candle... it smells that awesome! Customer service is great. The only negative is that they charge shipping. I really don't like that and usually won't shop at sites that charge shipping. Most sites either offer free shipping when you reach a certain price point or have a fixed shipping charge that is fair. I do like their candles and will still order from them but not as often as I normally would.

Small Beginnings is a great company. The melts I ordered are super strong and have great throw. The glazed donuts is to die for. The packaging is great, customer service was excellent and the price was good. The only thing keeping this company from being a 10 is that the tarts only come in five scents.

I read Dawn's recommendations for St Patty's day and thought I would try the [b]Key Lime Pie[/b] from here. Not a scent I would normally get. I got a 16oz and it is nice with a great throw. I also chose a 26oz [b]Totally Yummy[/b] which has a strong fruity-almond-sugary scent-great!!! 26oz Home Spun Sugar-which is very sweet. All of these have great throws and I am impressed!! Love them all!!! But, the owner sent me a tart to try in [b]Banana Spice cake[/b] and what can I say-I AM IN LOVE!! :) I immediately put this one in my melter and it filled my kitchen. So, needless to say I went right to my computer and purchased a 26oz jar in Banana Spice Cake-my NEW FAVORITE SCENT!! YUMMY!! I think if you like BNB scents you should give this a try, it is more of a cake smell, but just delicious!!! I highly recommend it!! :wink: **** Got my [b]Banana Spice cake[/b] candle and the cold smell is YUMMY!! It's a personal thing, but I just love this candle-still have to light it. I wanted to say I got a Strawberry Lemonade tart as a give-me and the throw is EXCELLENT-the authenticity leaves a little to be desired-it is a very sweet scent, berry-like, but I am truly impressed with the throw of one tart-I usually put 2-3 tarts in-even the larger size. I will have to update still on the throw of the Banana Spice Cake candle, but still I am CRAZY about the scent itself!!:wink: **************************************** The scent throw is GREAT on my Banana Spice Cake and I LOVE IT!!! Great candle, great service. Remember when I say great-it is not the strongest throwing candle I have ever had. It is hit n miss in this business and for me personally this scent is just nice and cozy!! Sort of like the pistachio scents I love, not everyone would like these. This is another definate FAVORITE of mine!!! UPDATE*********19DEC06********* I was burning my Key Lime Pie and was so impressed, I had long since burned the Banana Spice cake-so I went back!! Well, I see the Banana Spice cake is reformulated-so I got another one!! :) I also ordered a scent called Breathless(described as a spa scent)-will update when I receive these. Also, ordered some tarts in Tartberry twist. Can't wait to try them out! :)

I recently ordered from this company, after reading the reviews on the board. I don't buy candles often, so I really pay attention to the positive reviews listed here. I ordered the glazed donuts and tartberry twist, and banana spice cake. I found the throw in the spice cake to be quite light and I was a bit disappointed in it. The glazed donuts was very nice, and just like one I got at a different website. I also liked the tartberry twist, I didn't get the sweet tart note, but really thought it was a nice berry scent. My order was shipped in a reasonable timeframe and all in all I think I would try them again.

These are good candles. I ordered Summer Sorbet, Banana Spice Cake, Vanilla and Glazed Donuts. The most impressive candle was the Summer Sorbet. It’s a wonderful unique scent for all you fruit lovers out there. I would have to try more candles to get a better idea of what I think of this particular company. There wasn’t anything I disliked about my candles but I wasn’t blown away either. I will tell you one thing that impressed me. There is nothing I dislike more, than when I purchase candles from a company, and their wax has this weird underlying smell to it, that distracts from the scented oils used. That is my worst pet peeve. So, right away I like this company much better than many I have tried with the strange smelly thing going on in them.

I ordered the strawberry lemonade and banana spice cake after reading a review and found them to both be nice scents, the banana had a fair throw, but I didnt think it was really strong. I LOVE the strawberry lemonade, it was like the drinks we get at Applebees, lol. I also enjoyed the fresh glazed donuts. Great products, shipping is high, but the extra was worth the great candles.
