Candles Scent from Heaven

An Ebay candle store selling prim style candles and melts.

Nice Business! :) Found this company on e-bay and with the great sale I finally decided to order. Linda, the owner, said that 9 packs of tarts would fit in a flat rate box, and with so many delicious sounding bakery scents - I just had to fill that flat rate box! I'm always so happy when one company has all my favorites. I received my tarts in 5 days- quick shipping! I have been burning these tarts all weekend and I'm very happy! I ordered: COFFEE CAKE(Nice but not too sweet- very different than I am used to but very nice!), STRUDEL & SPICE (A winner- delicious!), GRANDMA'S KITCHEN(Pure, strong apples and cinnamon- very country!), GRANNIE'S CUPBOARD (Delicious bakery scent- a bit like oatmeal cookies but something more!), COUNTRY BAKE SHOP (YUMMY! Combination bakery scent- like pies, cookies and cakes- I have been burning this one all day and I LOVE it!!! Really great!), GRANDMA MABEL'S APPLE PIE (Strong throw- not my favorite apple type scent but nice- I prefer the Grandma's Kitchen), CINNAMON BUN (Strong & spicy cinnamon), GRANNIE ANNIE's KITCHEN (Very delicious combo- bakery scents with coconut! Yum! Just wish it was EVEN stronger!!!), & ZUCHINNI BREAD (WOW! Perfect! Strong and DELICIOUS!!! Can't beat this one!) With Linda having the sale- I got a 6 pack of tarts for $2.85 What a deal! The tarts have a moderate to strong throw (depending on scent) and they come packaged nicely with ribbons. Everything was shipped and carefully wrapped. Linda was very quick to answer e-mails and I am so happy with the quick shipping. She even threw in an adorable wax rabbit for free. I am sure to order here again and try some other scents! (And buy some more of the ones that I love!) I think you will really love this company!

I normally don't purchase candles through ebay, but after seeing a few reviews pop up on this website touting ebay candlemakers, I decided to give it a shot and the gamble paid off well. CSFH has a fairly extensive scent list and a very large product list which includes everything from sampler packs of "you choose" scents to tarts of every imaginable size and design and candles and diffuser oils. I decided to go with a sampler pack reasonably priced at 7.99 plus the cost of priority shipping. My product arrived safely nestled in peanuts, each tart individually wrapped in cellophane and tied with a cute piece of primitive string...much in line with the theme of the site. I ordered these for my classroom, so not only would they have to fill a fairly large room filled with dozens of hormonal, adolescent bodies but also appeal to the nose of these same teenagers as well. The scents I chose were: SWEET GRASS - a fresh cut lawn scent with a hint of florals that had a very strong throw and was very true to its scent but much hated by the class who couldn't pick up the subtle florals and likened it to weedwhacking in a ditch. MONKEY TREATS - very strong tropical smell with a bubblegum basenote that went over well. Plan to order more of this one. SUGARCOOKIE - nice vanilla smell but didn't smell very cookie-like beyond that and too light a fragrance to do its job of covering the after-gym aroma of the football team. BIRTHDAY CAKE - strangely enough, this one smelled more like sugarcookie than the actual sugarcookie tart. I couldn't smell any "icing" aroma beyond the vanilla but the "cake-like" scent was there long enough to give it a baked feel, hence the cookie comparison. PINK SUGAR - a perfume duplicate that the kids really liked. It was a bit more perfumey than foodlike, as I had previously expected and smelled in other duplicates of the same scent, but not to an unpleasant degree. Very strong...so much so that I had to cut it in half lest it give everyone a headache. Along with the samples were a wealth of extra goodies. Free tarts, some of which were labelled...others I can only guess at. These also performed to mixed reviews: COUNTRY BUMPKIN was almost entirely spice. Though the site says there's vanilla, sugar, and apples in there somewhere...my nose couldn't detect it and neither could sixty other nostrils. Very strong spices with a resin-like undercurrent running through it. Not a class favorite. FRESH BAKED BREAD - which had too much of a sugary aroma to really capture its namesake but wasn't unpopular due to its almost cake-like aroma. The APPLE CLOVE BUTTER was just too strong in the spices for me. Others may love a spicy candle, but I don't like my apples overwhelmed by the cinnamon and/or cloves. Some of the others had a nice, clean, soap-like aroma but were unlabeled, so I can only guess at their contents. Overall, while some of the scents were hit and miss, the tarts themselves were a joy to purchase and melt. Their blend made them easy to burn without the greasy aroma that accompanies 100 percent soy tarts after they deplete their fragrance, yet were malleable enough to easily cut through and melt quickly. Prices are VERY reasonable, scent list...though sometimes tricky... is fairly extensive and the sampler packs give you an affordable means by which to pick out your favorite scents. Shipping is fast and not overinflated: all around a great experience and highly recommended to others. ****Update**** Am now on my second order and I'm still very satisfied. Right now I'm burning Lemon Pound Cake and am very pleased to note that the undertones of buttery cake are actually not overpowered by the lemons, which can be a strong scent. Some other scents I've tried are Pumpkin Nog (captures the creamy-dreamy quality perfectly). Fall Leaves (a miss IMO...smelled like cleaning solution). Banana Pudding (was actually asked if I was baking the real thing by a neighbor who smelled it from OUTSIDE my house). But the reason for this update is to rave about one particular scent that I urge anyone who is ordering from this company to sample: Primitive Wishes. A fantastic scent of pine and sugar cookie that sounds awful but was so hypnotic that I found myself taking naps by the tart warmer just to inhale every lingering waft of scent.

I've been ordering tarts from Linda at Candles Scent From Heaven for over a year now and have never been disappointed. her tarts are paraffin, ready to go when you get them and last in your stash as well. If you follow her on facebook, she often has specials for facebook fans and I always end up feeling like I got a great deal on some awesome tarts. My recent haul included some ginormous bundt tarts (which were on special for BOGO) they are huge (easily divided into 3 or 4) and dusted with real cinnamon. I highly recommend giving her a try!
