Hello everyone, I would like to give some credit to this company for selling amazing tart warmers that use a 2 piece hot plate design making the unit cool to touch and Safe for pets and children. I first purchase a collective group of 3 warmers back in Sept/06. The designs were leaves, autumn harvest, and peppermint snowmen. I have used these continuously (24/7) without worry. I since ordered 2 more styles in snowmen designs since they were being dicontinued and I so do love the snowmen! They are very large tart warmers and hold up to 4 oz of wax at a time!!!!! They have a base unit and a top bowl unit that is seperate so you can remove it at will. The customer service is outstanding and the quality is beyond anything I have found on any site or in any store. I hope all will check out this company, you will be glad you did.

March 26 order arrived (posted late so says March 27) I was searching on Ebay and other sites for electric tart burners for myself and to gift when I found Barbara(Babe) and Michelle's scented baskets site. They are in Houston TX. I e-mailed her with questions and she phoned me soon after and answered all my questions and made suggestions. I ordered 4 tart burners with the matching plates. Two of them I ordered were on sale for $15 (Frosty Friends & Strawberry Picnic) These are high end well made large(about 6 inches across)somewhat heavy elegant ceramic burners. The other ones I chose with plates were Ivory Monochromatic and Window Bouquet ( which is currently sitting on my bedroom dresser). I ordered two bags of tarts Orange danish & Fruit slices. There were 6 in each bag. I put the orange danish (which smells like a bakery danish) in my burner around 4PM and it still has a moderate-strong throw. It was very strong within 15-20 minutes. The interesting thing is the tarts are not soy like I usually buy but I like the melt pool it creates and the scent release. It is slow to start but saturates the surrounding area then lingers. She does not make the tarts but being a tart lover herself has tried many and has a woman make them for her personal use as well as her site. I had lots of questions about the scents and she sent some from her personal stash for me to try..actually quite a few samples. I currently have an almond cherrry tart in my large bedroom with high ceilings and for the last 4 hours it smells wonderful. It surprised me that it had a good strong throw in such a large room. I usually burn candles in there to get a good scent saturation. Maybe the combination of her burner and tart are the reason that a single tart throws so well in that room. I can't wait to try the other tarts. They are all wax not soy but seem to be every bit as good if not better in some cases. Please look at her site and definitely buy a burner from scented baskets if quality, value and great customer service are important to you. I will update later as I use the other tarts! Update March 27 mid day: tried a blueberry hazelnut tart in a powder room. Another strong scent throw that mellows out and lingers. Both the blueberry and then definite scent of the hazelnut. Opened the door because it was so strong. tried the Passion Berry Breeze in my kitchen around 6:30AM and with in the hour picked up a koolaid type smell, fortunately it did not last long and decresed in scent throw about 10AM so I tossed it and now have Caramelized Apple Praline which within minutes I could smell pecan which is the predominamt scent. It has been melting for almost an hour now and I do not detect apple but a slight caramel. If you love the smell of a freshly cracked open pecan then this is one to try. I placed the cinnamon nutmeg in my bedroom and 3 hours later I smelled cinnamon and alittle something else, possibly nutmeg but overall this is cinnamon and moderate in throw. These scents tend to linger. I had turned off my bedroom burner and this morning I still detected the cherry almond before switching to the cinnamon nutmeg. More to follow!
