Candlefind Review Board Archive

I ordered several large pillars in various scents, some votives, many tealights and some tarts or melts. The pillars look fantastic. CandlesEtc are so very accomodating with their candles and will make any size to order. The scent selection is huge which is great - many designer scents to choose from. I'm uncertain as to the authenticity of their scenting but they all still smell pretty darn nice. I'm sure various candle companies have their own interpretations of any one scent and no two handpoured and handcrafted companies are alike. They did make a mistake with one of my requested scents but I guess this can happen with anyone. At least they offered to send the correct one out straight away even though I live in Australia - now that is great customer service for ya !!! I wasn't too happy with their votives as they are poured in an odd way. They also didn't burn too well but I'm told that they need to be burned in a flat snug fitting votive holder. The wicks in some were also faulty but they did offer to replace these also. I'm also undecided with their tarts. But it may well be the scents that I tried more so than the tarts themselves. I'm sure that with most companies there's a scent that does lend itself with some oddities but then again perhaps this is another personal thing. Their TEALIGHTS however are pretty good. Some were poured alittle messy but I'm sure this can be sorted out with them. Can't go too wrong with tealights. On a final note - CandlesEtc. is two thumbs up for customer service and their pillar candles are good. The scent throw is quite impressive - moderately strong without being overpowering. Good for light scenting with the wonderful ambience of pillar candlelight. I would definately give this company a go - even if to sample their huge selection of scents.

Always letting me know what was happening. I requested special pillar candles for my daughters wedding which they made and they were beautiful. Even threw in a few extra just in case.
