About four years ago a friend of mine bought me a candle from a company I didn’t even know existed. She told me I was about to experience a candle that would change my life. I thought she was joking, but when I light my first Strega Moon Candle my life changed! It really did! Everyday I come home and the first thing I do is light my candle (I have scents of the month). As the scent permeates the entire downstairs of my home I feel more relaxed, and I am able to unwind after a long and stressful day. I never knew something as simple as a candle could make my day better. I thought my friend and I were the only ones who had this feeling of calm and happiness when burning Strega Moon Candles, but when I married my husband and he started to light the candles before doing anything else (even giving me a kiss hello) I knew these candles could bring a sense of calm to the world. I now have to share the decision on which scent to get… I am not very fond of sharing that choice but don’t tell my husband. lol I have a lavender candle that sits by my bed, and without having to light it the scent carries me off into sweet dreams. Their candles are all natural soy or palm (palm is my favorite) that don’t leave the black soot other candles I have had do. I love the fact that they have so many different scents to choose from! I swear I have been buying candles religiously from them since my friend gave me my first candle, and I have yet to get the same scent twice! I burn their jar candles as well as their pillars. Palm I find is exceptional for adding that special touch to a room. The crystallized finish is sheik yet funky, and always has my guests asking how someone could make a candle look the way they do. I would recommend everyone trying Strega Moon Candles, but I must warn you that once you start you can’t stop! These candles and their scent are addictive! So let me summarize Strega Moon Candle’s product. The cold and hot scent throw is phenomenal! I can smell their candles with or without burning them which is hard to find. The scent never dissipates so you always have a great scent throw no matter how much of your candle is left. The amount of scents they have to choose from guaranties that anyone can find a scent to love and relax with. The color and look of their candles fit into any décor, and are clean burning so they won’t ruin your walls with soot. They have several different sizes in jars and pillars as well as there new melts (which I love). The jars burn all the way down with very little to no wax left when you are done burning your candle. The pillars (especially palm) have a very unique glow effect as you burn your pillar. I must also mention their packaging. Over the last four years I have watched their packaging go from a very sheik black and tan ribbon wrapped around a cellophane bag with the label wrapped around the candle before being placed into the bag. To a multi color ribbon of turquoise, purple, and red wrapped around the same cellophane packaging which bring a cool funkiness to the arrival of their candles! I hope everyone who reads this buys a Strega Moon Candle so you too can experience their glorious life changing fragrances that trigger only happy things!

As no one has written a review of Strega Moon, I'm delighted to be the first one! Just a week or two ago the company did not have a strawberry fragrance, but I noticed on their testimonials page that someone had at one time purchased one. I emailed the company to see if they would ever offer a strawberry scent again. A reply was quickly sent back, letting me know that they were actually coming out with a new strawberry fragrance on Wednesday and they offered to email me a reminder! Of course I didn't forget and promptly ordered an 8 oz. palm wax tin in Strawberry Passion! I just love when companies offer tins. It is such a great way to try a company or scent without too much commitment:-). My 8 oz. tin is silver, as most tins are, has a solid tin lid, and is double-wicked. A gold address size label is on the side of the tin with the company name, fragrance, type of wax, and the weight of the candle (for example: 8oz.). My personal preference is for the label to be located on the lid of the tin, but the most important part of the tin is the candle, of course:-). The color of the wax is a nice, bright, strawberry red. How did it smell? When I first received this candle, I had my husband smell it without telling him the fragrance. He said it smelled like raspberries. My impression is that it smelled like strawberry koolaide. I mentioned this to the hubby, and he changed his mind and thought it smelled like koolaide, too. I've tried so many strawberry candles, and a pure strawberry scent seems so hard to pin down. Strawberry Passion stilled smelled great, though, and what better fragrance for summer than koolaide! The website describes it as, "a strawberry lover's dream." The scent throw was very good and the scent strength is about medium-high. My tin has no wax remaining on the sides and the wicks burned very clean. For all the above reasons, and because they have a great scent selection, I'm giving Strega Moon a 9. However, I'd like to add a word of caution about their tins. My tin sat in my laundry room/half-bathroom where there are no drafts and there is next to no traffic. Every hour or so I go and check on my candles. Well, the wicks in this candle up and ran all over the tin! I don't know if they weren't glued down or what, but when there was still a great deal of wax left, the metal at the end of the wicks had curled up and the wicks were floating all over the place. Of course I blew them out and moved them back to the center, but anytime all the wax liquefied, the wicks would float around again. If you have small children, maybe you should give the jars a try. Hopefully those wicks won't float around as they did with my candle tin. Strega Moon has votives, pillars, jar candles, tins (of course), and just added tealights. I wish they had a larger selection of jar sizes in soy wax, as you can only purchase soy jar candles in the 5oz. size, and only with essential oils. But the palm wax is great, too, and some of their essential oil fragrances sound wonderful. Overall, I was very pleased with my candle and wouldn't mind purchasing from their company again.
