Actually I should answer "Would you recommend them" as "sort of". First let me say that I am probably not the candle person that they are marketing to! This site has many cute foodie candles - shaped like pies, beverages, etc. I am more of a classic candle, strong-scented tart burner. A friend of mine likes sugar cookie scent, so I ordered her some of the cute "sugar cookies" - they look like the real deal. I also ordered a few more items just to check them out. Sugar cookie tarts: Cute, but more of a snickerdoodle scent, cinnamon most noticeable. (6 for 6.75) Tart: Picnic basket scent: (appears to be palm wax) I am at a bit of a loss to say what this scent is. I did not see a scent description on the site, so I was thinking this would be a summery fruity fragrance. Instead - it has a scent that smells kinda like the inside of a picnic basket...damp woody spice? Also, I am not crazy about palm wax - I think it is very pretty for using candles for decorating, but I often notice an underlying scent that I do not care for when it is burned. (12 for 8.95 in a cellophane bag with a sticker label) Tart: (paraffin wax looking) Summer Sunrise scent: I like this, it is a juicy fruit smell, but scent is not consistent. The first tart has minimal scent, the second was enough to scent the bathroom. (12 for 8.95,in a cellophane bag with a sticker label) Jar candle: (soy) Lemon Drop flavor. This candle burns nicely, clean and no tunnels. It is in a jelly jar and the label is taped on - crooked, however. The scent is more of an artificial lemon, like the fillings in pastries instead of a fresh lemon. These candles got here in the 100+ weather just fine. It took about 2 weeks for them to arrive. Included is the catalog of items shown on the website. As I said, I think there are many candles that are great for decorating or gifts on their site. I was disappointed in the scents, however. This would have been a good time to have received a sample or two of the best sellers, as perhaps there are great scents I did not order.
