I am wondering if alot of you have Salt City Candle confused with Cachet Candles at one time I was told they were the same candle, I can assure you they are not. I love Salt City Candles and have been a user for years! No other candle even compares

These candles smell really good. They really scented up the whole room and then some. They burn even and clean with a topper. I thought yankee candles smell great, but salt lake city smell even better. I will continue to buy, hopefully their customer service will get better. ------------------------------------------------- I just recently ordered from salt lake city, and I must say that the customer service is not good. I went online to order and then I called their toll free number and come to find out--most of what I ordered was not in stock. They don't update their website often, also they had one person that barely spoke english in customer service named Lu--she was not professional at all. I don't think I'll ever order from them ever again. I haven't received my order yet, but I hope the candles are better then the customer service.

I tried these candles in lime twist and in carribean . They are very strong scented and the smells are great . The only thing is both candles tunneled the whole way with a lot of wasted wax.

I do enjoy these candles very much but I think it all depends on the fragrance. I have tried a few and thought they were terrible while others I loved. They don't seem to be as strong as they used to be but I do smell them all the way upstairs. They will soot but I have never had a problem with tunneling. I burn these almost every day. I did notice if you use a jar topper, you don't get the soot. I have had every candle burn to the bottom with nothing left, was even afraid the jar would crack because it got so low. I order these off and on and had one break in shipping. The company was really difficult in having it replaced, almost acted like I was lying. I LOVE the Welcome Home, Home Sweet Home, Secret Garden, Pear Berry and one they discontinued that was Raspberry. That one was my favorite. I will use these again but wish the customer service was more friendly and they smelled as wonderful as they did in a few years back

I have only tried one of these candles. It is a larger jar of Cinnabun -- sorta of a creamy redish brown color. The cold smell is pretty authentic cinnamon smelling -- that is what tempted me into trying it. I know that the character of this particular scent is pretty strong -- from other purchases through other companys. My candle was probably a few years old, because I had picked up a "candle lot" on Ebay and this jar was in it. I checked website and the jar style is different than what they carry now. I haven't had much problems with it burning -- as long as you let it burn until it has a complete melt pool -- and for this single wick candle -- that is really many hours! The scent throw is moderate. I am burning it with a candle topper -- to prevent any soot before it happens. It seems to do well in a smaller room. I can not say that I am terrible disappointed in it. It's okay -- but then I can't say that I would go out and buy one at full price anytime in the future either. Julianne

I have only tried one SLC candle a 26oz I ordered from Scents and Sprays (no problems) in Pomegranate. It has a moderate throw. It really reminds me of strawberries. The candle is not burning very well, kind of tunneling. May try some other scents-some sound interesting. After reading the reviews, I would stick with ordering from Scents and Sprays-they are quick and nice!!! :)

I feel bad about posting a negative review but I've got to say that I'm not really impressed with these candles. I bought several different fragrances and every one of them so far smells fake to me. Like cheap air freshener or something. These candles also aren't burning very well, they tunnel and I'm always having to use my wick dipper to push wax into the wax pool so everything gets used up. Sadly, I will not be purchasing this line of candles again. Sorry Salt City.

I am sorry to say I am not impressed with these candles. I liked their selection of fragrances and the pricing is good. And I like their colors... also the jar styles were all nice. But when I burned them, no scent. I got a tropical scent thinking it would for sure be fragrant. It left side wax too. I won't be buying them again. Too bad, I thought I would like them :(

These tunnel and leave quite a bit of soot. I've also noticed that on some of them the color seems to fade as you burn them and they don't look very nice once that happens! Not all of them have a very strong scent to them either. There are companies out there that sell clean burning candles in the same scents for the same price.

I have only tried one candle from Salt City Candles. I wanted to try their candles because I have heard some good things about them online. I joined their Candle Club so I could take advantage of their free candle offer. I joined the club for a small fee and received a free 16 oz. Cinnamon Vanilla jar candle. I did have to pay for shipping. I found the website hard to navigate. Shipping took forever. I spent more than a week waiting for my order. The candle's scent was so-so. It wasn't as great smelling as others that I've smelled but it wasn't horrible either. It was just ok. The jar was pretty. The throw was below average for a jar. The candle tunneled a little bit. The candle did look pretty in its jar but I just wasn't impressed by the company.

I bought a couple of these candles the other day at a local shop. The owner told me they were really good, and her favorites, but I was very disappointed. I bought cinnamon vanilla and french vanilla. The cinnamon was stronger, but it was dfinitely not as strong as I would have thought. The French Vanilla was so light I had to stand over the candle to smell it. All in all, I feel that the candles are not worth what I paid for.

I tried their Lime Twist scent recently. It definitely did not satisfy my nose! The scent was extremely strong, but it was not very authentic when it comes to the smell of limes. It was missing that punch of tartness that limes have. It smelled too fake to me and had that air-freshener quality to it. I won't be ordering from them again. I was disappointed because I knew from working with CandleFind, that Salt City Candles were a big-name brand. If you like Salt City Candles, take it from me...there are other brands of candles out there that smell so much more real than these.

I have used these candles for several years, but the process must of changed because the quality is no longer there. Lots of soot, some of the scents aren't very strong and tunneling.

I bought SCC because they were reasonable, loved the jars and colors. I was so excited when I got mine. BUT, when I burned them I was so so very disapointed. First they tunnel real bad like Yankee Candles, second they soot bad like Gold Canyon Candles. But Gold Canyons don't tunnel and has a great scent throw, like Blue Diamond Candles (my favorite to date). I don't understand why candle companies that make candles that tunnel, don't do something about it because no one wants to waste wax they paid for!?
