I have purchased some Candle-Lite products that have NO smell at all. But i have tried the Mainstay at Walmart, the 3 wicks. I LOVE the Mulled Cider & the Hazelnut one. They are wonderful :) Also, the Corner Bakery ones, in the darling country jars are very strong. I have tried the Hot Apple Pie in the huge 42 oz jar, it is a 3 wick. Also have tried the pumpkin pie in the same size jar. They have other scents also in the Corner Bakery jars. They also have a small size, but i love the larger one. They burn nice and smell nice. But like i have said, i have purchased some Candle-Lite products that were awful, no smell at all.

I am most impressed by Candle-lite candles that are sold under the Mainstays Home name at Wal-Mart. The 11.5oz jars with three wicks are wonderful. Every scent I've tried has given a terrific scent throw and they both burn and melt great. My very favorite scents are fresh linen, sweet pea, honeysuckle and honeydew melon. I wish they had more scents and didn't have them only as spring/summer or fall/winter scents. Some other Candle-lite candles I've tried from other stores have had no scent. Also, the votives that are curved on top burn well and give off lots of scent. The small one wick jars don't give off hardly any scent. At $2.97 for the 11.5 oz jars they can't be beat. Update 11/24/06 Yesterday (Thanksgiving) I decided to burn some of my Christmas candles and got out a new one from Canlde Lite that Wal-Mart has this year. It was a 97cent small candle called Cranberry and boy is it nice. It burned well and put out a very nice scent throw. I burned it most of the day and had no problems whatsoever. Definitely nice for this time of year and a great bargain.

I am such a candle addict, I can't even go into a Walmart without checking out their candle section. I've purchased plenty of candles from there and have gotten my fair share of duds but... I finally found a diamond in the ruff. My million dollar find... Candle-lite's 20oz square jar which can be purchased at Walmart for under 7 bucks. How cool is that! I purchased Pink Grapefruit first just to try it and it burned pretty decent and actually fragranced the whole lower level of my house. That is above respectable! It smelled REALLY good too... I couldn't have been more surprised. Next time I went back, I ended up purchasing Pear, Pineapple & Peach and so far, they all smell pretty good although Pink Grapefruit is my favorite and strongest out of the bunch. The only thing to watch for is the placement of the wicks on these candles. Some of them are really bad (way off center). Other than that, I totally think these candles are worthy of purchase, especially for the price tag.

I just purchased a three pack of wax tarts at Walmart in Hazelnut and I am fairly impressed. I wouldn't say they are the best quality, but definately good for the price. I was worried that the scent would be too faint, but that's not the case at all. I am burning one tart and I can smell it in the living room, kitchen and hallway. And if I step outside for a moment and come back in.... it smells delicious. Like I said.... not my favorite in quality but for 2.88 I have no complaints.

I had pretty good luck today with an "Apple Pie" 20 oz. candle I found at Big Lots.

This is a review on two 3.5oz candles I bought from CVS. I got the scents Pumpkin Spice and Apple Orchard. They had a nice cold smell, and I really enjoy seasonal scents, so I decided to try these out. I've tried burning them in small rooms (bathroom, office) and can never really get a scent throw from these. I can barely smell them when I am right next to them. Overall I don't think I'll buy the small ones again, but I've seen a few good reviews regarding the larger size jars so perhaps I'll try those.

I can find these candles everywhere from walmart to the dollar store- and to a candle nut as my self they do satisfy if I need to buy a candle since it can be pretty cheep but the quality is not up to the best standard

on cold sniff, these smell pretty good but when burned, have no throw whatsoever. The only positive aspect is that they are not expensive. I've tried several times thinking I perhaps just chose a more mild scent but again, no throw. All the candles I tried did not tunnel and burned evenly.

I bought the candle for half price after Christmas because it has a ceramic shade. The candle, cold, had a pleasant scent (light blue.) The shade broke when I set the grocery bag down on the kitchen floor. I glued the shade back together and burned the candle. There was almost no scent throw. I would not buy this brand again, even though it is available in many retail outlets.
