I really like the feeling of simplicity this website gives everytime I visit. With the spirit of simplicity in mind, I'm going to try to keep my review short and hope you visit Quaker Street Naturals' website for yourself:-). This site offers several sizes of tins, apothecary jars, a quartz rock (I have no idea what it looks like), and a tealight for some of their fragrances. I think the tealights are more for sampling newer scents. I purchased three tealights and four 2oz tins and received a free 2oz apothecary jar (I would describe it more as a vase jar, as the jar isn't straight up and down). The tealights came in plastic bags tied with twine. The scent was listed on a small, round label on the bag. The labels on the tealight bags, the lids of my tins, and on the lid of my apothecary jar looked just the same: quaint and nostalgic with an old, brown schoolhouse against a simple, white background. All of Quaker Street Naturals' wax is a pure white. All the fragrances I tried smelled wonderful and authentic (citrus breeze, cool citrus basil, basil sage mint chocolate caramel, caramel, vanilla lavender, mediterranian fig, honey coco mango). The citrus candles smelled fairly similar to me, but that could also just be me and they smelled good nonetheless. Since I purchased such small candles, I burned them all in my bathroom and the scent strength was great, even in my larger halfbath/laundry room. I think the tealights did burn rather fast for soy, but again, I think the tealights are just to sample scents and the company specializes more in tins and jars. The wicks burned clean and my little jar was clean until the last burn (I always trimmed the wicks). Every candle tin, and my jar, used as much wax as possible and had a nice, even burn. I was very pleased with all the candles I tried. I hope you find a candle at Quaker Street Naturals to help you relax and hopefully simplify your life...if only for a little while. Happy simplifying from Jen :-)
