Texas Charm candles are great! I received a small tin from them and it scented my entire living area. They have amazing scent choices. I am a bakery candle nut and they have a great selection of bakery scents. Her candles are double wicked and clean burning. All burn to the edges with no smoke or soot. The owner of Texas Charm also owns a fragrance oil supply business, so she has more control than your average chandler over what goes into her candles. She uses quality oils and goes out of her way to find unique scents. You will see things at Texas Charm that you can't get other places. My favorites are Sock It To Me Cake, Melonberry Tea, Raspberries and White Roses and Watermelon Martini. She has so many that are fantastic though!! Customer Service is amazing. Stacy is quick and has good contact with her customers.

I tried these candles based upon reviews I had read here. I bought Apache Tears and Paradise. I was amazed by the throw of these candles when cold and while being burned! They're just amazing! I bought Apache Tears on a whim because it is a bestseller, and I was not disappointed. It sort of reminds me of incense and baby powder combined. I will definitely buy it again. Paradise is absolutely wonderful. I do not normally buy fruity scents but I am so glad I tried this one. It smells good enough to eat! Along with my candles, Stacy sent me a tube of her lip butter; it's yummy and made my lips feel so soft! It was so nice to receive the unexpected gift. I will definitely purchase candles from this site again and will recommend them to my friends. I can't wait to try some of Stacy's other scents!

OK, it isn't often that I rate a candle company a "10", but I can't hold back for Texas Charm. AWESOME QUALITY CANDLES!! I ran across the website some months ago, and saved the link. Wanting to try some new candles, I re-visited the site, and chose three scents to try, Blackberry Jam Butter Cookies, Cinnamon Sugar Biscotti, and Spice Market. Yep, all "foody" scents, but not because they don't offer other types. It's still winter here in the Midwest, and that's what I seem to gravitate towards this time of year. I managed to ignore my usual requirement for a vanilla-fix-note, and finally settled on these three unique scents. Texas Charm does offer scents you just don't see elsewhere, along with favorites. I was delighted that all three candles were double wicked. Considering that I ordered two 10-oz Rustic Apothecary jars, and one four ounce tin, that was amazing. I knew immediately that Stacy, the candlemaker, took pride in her candles. I was in for a treat. I had to try them all in one evening! They burn SO nicely! Not even the slightest wisp of smoke or soot, the wax liquifies and burns to the very edges of the jar/tin. I believe it's her own special blend of waxes...and it works. It really works. Even the flames were a joy to watch. Bright and calm..peaceful to watch. But absolutely no scent of the flame...just pure fragrance. That's why I used "pure scents" as a description above. The scents were all true, not artificial or fake in the least. I liked them all, I can't pick a favorite. The Blackberry Jam Butter Cookies was WONDERFUL. If you're looking for a baking-type scent, but want to skip the usual cinnamon-sweet-vanillaly notes that are common, this is the one to try. It smells incredibly real (HOW does she do it?). You smell the butter cookies, but the blackberry jam note balances it out very smoothly, without getting "sweet." Unique and delicious, I love this one! The Cinnamon Sugar Biscotti has a very strong throw, but it will not give you a headache, because it is just too authentic. So convincing, that my young-adult son came to me wanting to know if I was baking the can of cinnamon rolls which had been in my fridge. Well, I wasn't...and the candle got him so worked up, he forced his teenage sister to bake the rolls right then and there! I'd describe the scent as the perfect cinnamon & sugar blend, with a very subtle, almost unperceptible baking note. Not really a "roll" or a "biscotti", but it doesn't matter...this scent will make you hungry for anything with cinnamon. The smallest candle was the 4-oz tin of "Spice Market." I guess I wanted to sample a smaller size, because sometimes spice notes are overpowering. NOT in this scent blend. Very true once again..no smokey undercurrant to detract from the beauty of the scent. PURE, perfectly balanced spice notes....impossible to single them all out, they blend together so well. Stacy also included a little feebie--a Rootbeer Float lip butter! You can rest assured, I will be back to try more scents. I HIGHLY recommend these candles, and I am really picky. Give them a try!

I must admit I've only tried 3 scents from the Texas Charm Bath & Candle Co. They are Apache Tears, Turquoise and Hugs and Kisses. You have to see how they show you the scent descriptions. It is so very clever. The scent is so strong, different and absolutely wonderful. I always have candles burning (I'm a candle freak!), but this is the first time my husband and sons have commented on the great aroma from Apache Tears and Turquoise, particularly.

I've been trying to lift my winter doldrums by experimenting with lots of different candle companies that have tempted me for months, and boy! has it worked! Texas Charm has such a unique scent selection that it was difficult deciding what to try. As I am crazy about tarts (I can't seem to shake this mood!), I naturally chose seven scents in their breakaway version- Apache Tears, Turquoise, Ooh La La, Paradise, Weih Kalani, Amber Sunset and Spice Market. Wow, these are wonderful smells! Apache Tears, Turquoise, Amber Sunset and Spice Market all have something of a mysterious, exotic quality and have EXCELLENT scent throws. The others have more of a floral or fruit quality and are really good, too, but are more "recognizable", which just means that you could actually identify exactly what you were smelling in a less intriguing way. These are truly remarkable with a completely unique flair and I highly recommend them for something a little out of the ordinary! **UPDATE 3/25/06** I have ordered many more scents and LOVE too many to name, so here's a short list of the VIP's: Brown Sugar & Fig-delicious & WOW! Voluptuous & Pure Indulgence - similar in their sweetness, very good Purple Haze - exotic Seaside Garden - Floral/Fresh Triple Nut Cake - REALLY good, REALLY strong! All of the "amber" scents intrigue me since I didn't even know I liked it! The bakery scents are lighter to my nose and I haven't tried any of the Southwest ones yet (probably won't!), but the Sophistication line cannot be beat! Also, shipping is free if over $50.00 so it's a great deal, especially when combined with the current 10% off special!!!

I love this company! I found them through this site, and am so glad I did. Stacy is a marvelous candlemaker, she has excellent products. I think out of all the scents, my personal favs were: Pure Indulgence, Butter Cookies, Apricot Raspberry, and cranberry banana jam. Exellent, cannot say enough!!! Definitely give this company a try

I ordered quite a few things from Stacy. The candles smell very good, although I have not burned them yet - I will keep you posted. What I am here to rave about are her bath and body products. I ordered a body butter and a sinfully thick hand and body lotion in buttercream and they smell so close to the real thing that I want to lick my arm. The quality of these lotions is awesome! She sent me free samples of body butters in Paradise and Sun Kissed Mangos and when I opened them up, the scents were amazing. I immediately put one on each arm, then got online and ordered these two in large size body butters and 8oz. candles. Her scents are amazing and unique. I will keep you posted on the candles. *************************** OK - I still haven't burned any of my candles yet but I'm on my 3rd order with Stacy. I can't get enough of her lotions. They smell so good. She sent me tarts in Cake Batter and they smell so good. Great bakery scent! I ordered another body butter in Tres Magnifique and it is a great vanilla-sugar-cotton candy smell. Great all-around summertime lotion. I also ordered vanille coco, vanille banane, and cinnamon buns in the body butters and they all smell so good and the scent lingers on your skin for quite a while. The cinnamon buns is very authentic not that fake cinnamon smell in most lotions. I've probably ordered about 8 candles from Stacy and they all smell awesome but I haven't burned them yet. Keep you posted. ****************************** Ok - I have now burned quite a few of her tarts. I absolutely love the Better than Sex Cake tarts. They have the pineapple, yellow cake, coconut scent and I love it! I also love Lace Gloves. Very unique scent! Everything she sells has a great scent throw. She has also just starting selling body wash and I'm already in on that. I still can't get enough of her body butters and lotions. The quality of her body butter is unbelievable. Take advantage of her 20% off sale this month(August). I am stocking up for Christmas. Her Tres Magnifique and Buttercream scents are awesome!

Well, after reading the review before mine I was a little stressed out. With my candle order in transit I was hoping for the best. Boy was I relieved after smelling each of my candles. Here is what I got... 1.POLYNESIAN DELIGHTS - This is a wonderful fruity scent. Similar to a fruit punch. There is more to it but I can't pinpoint it exactly. I am very pleased never the less. 2.CAKE BATTER - This is a nice scent that could probably translate into a few bakery type scents but I like it. It's very bakery but not in a spicy way. 3.BANANA SPICE CAKE - This smells like a Banana Nut Bread candle to me. I'm not thrilled with it. I have yet to find a BNB scent that I like. It's just me. Everyone else in the world would probably like this candle. 4.WHITE CHOCOLATE MACADAMIA NUT COOKIES - Holey moley folks. This is the winner! I know my White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies (unfortunately) and they got this one perfect! 5.BANANA SPLIT - This is basically a banana and pineapple candle. I can imagine a banana split ice cream when I smell it. What impressed me most about this candle is that it is the first ever, where I could actually smell, a real true to life fresh banana. Huge scent throw on this one and even lit the true banana smell dominates. I love it. 6.PISTACHIO ICE CREAM - Now this was a real leap for me. As far as I can tell this is an accurate candle. I really like it because it's different than most candle scents I have tried. 7.HONEY AND SHEA TYPE- This candle smells just like a moisturizing cream that you would put on your body. I personally don't care for it but it's very accurate. I think I was hoping more for a honey smell. Not a bad candle at all just not my taste. I will order from this company again. I love the unusual scents they offer. Honestly I won't chance it with the "Southwest" scents because of the previous reviewers comments but I would be willing to try everything else. They also sent me a free Vanilla lip balm that I have not used yet but smells great. Oh, and the 4oz tins that I bought are double wicked and so far they all have a great scent throw and burn.

Received my candles this weekend. Read the reviews and placed my order after I saw that she had a PISTACHIO scent. I personally love this scent have tried it before and been disappointed. I purchased her largest candle, 26 oz I believe-filled to the brim in a soft green color and it smells just like the Baskin Robbin's ice cream!! To my surprise, the scent throw is actually great too!! This is just one candle keep in mind. I did order a Spice Market in a large size also and will update on that also. So far, so good!! I have to say I am very IMPRESSED with this particular candle and this company and would definately purchase again. Her website is nice and she has tons of scents to chose from. Plus, she is offering 10% off now too-give it a shot and if you like Pistachio ice cream-definately try this candle!!!! ****UPDATE**** 05MAR06 LOVE the Pistachio and think it is truly "THE ONE" for me!! Spice Market is disappointing for me. This scent sounds so appealing and yet I can smell nothing!! I have had a similar scent from another company and had the same problem-my nose smells nothing! I am going to try other scents from here though, especially the bakery types!! Like others have said, "it's a gamble"

I ordered from TC for the shea butter scents and ended up getting a clamshell tart in a southwestern scent, I did burn about 2 squares in an electric burner, but couldn't smell anything. I feel that the price for the clamshell tarts are expensive, and will order votives from now on. I did make another order with her and am trying some of the new scents in votive form, cannot wait to get them, they sound delicious. Seller has made the shipping a flat rate of $9.50, but *will* refund you if shipping is less.

Sorry to be the only one disappointed with this company, but I am. I tried six different melt scents, but not the ones anyone else has mentioned. Three were Enchanted Woods, Roll in the Hay, and Orange Tea. These are more off the wall ones they have listed, but since I don't care for bakery scents I thought I would try them. I've burned Yankee for years, all different kinds of scents and purchased just about every candle listed in a review on this board. I have never been as disappointed as I am with these scents. Oh my gosh.... they're horrid and that's the only word I can use to describe them. The Roll in the Hay wasn't even through melting before I tossed it out because my house smelled so bad. The others made it less than ten minutes. People, I'm not THAT picky, these scents were awful! Just to be sure, I gave the remainder to my neighbor who called me and said, "Don't ever do that to me again! Where on earth did you get these horrible things?" Ok, two people... the remainder made their way to my mom who fully agreed about the scents and threw the rest away. Maybe their other scents are ok, but I sure wouldn't order anything out of the ordinary from this company, especially anything with their "leather" scent. I also didn't care for how my purchase worked on their site (I'm not being gripey today, I promise). My order went through and I noticed right off there was no shipping added on. Paypal immediately paid for my order from my account and I wondered about shipping, but wasn't sure since it never showed up. Three days later I get a request from Paypal to pay the shipping charges. The shipping wasn't out of line at all, but HAD it been, I would have been stuck at that point with money for the candles already deducted from my bank account. I don't know if this has happened to anyone else, but people should know what they're paying for shipping at the conclusion before they enter their credit card information. I will not order again from this company because I completely wasted twenty dollars. I'm just glad it wasn't more.

I ordered 2 of the 10 oz. jars from Stacy. They sell for 8.50 each. Oh my goodness, they are both AWESOME!! It took me a long time to decide which scents, she has so many wonderful ones, but with Stacy's help, i decided on the Cinnamon Sugar Biscott and the Spice Market. WOW~they are both to die for. Love them :) She also sent a free votive in Blackberry Jam Butter Cookie, and it is yummy!! I am already deciding what to order next, I would HIGHLY recommend these candles, AWESOME =)
