It had all the elements I love in a bakery scent… it was so warm and cozy and there was no mistaking the pumpkin which was nice.
Intro To My Candle Review
Bath & Body Works had quite a few pumpkin candles this year to please just about every pumpkin lover out there. When I saw Pumpkin Cupcake, I immediately threw a few in my cart… I didn‘t even have to read the description. How can a bakery lover resist when “cupcake“ is part of the scent? Not this one.
The label on the candle helped sell the whole package. It showed 3 pumpkin cupcakes packed with white buttercream frosting and topped with cute little pumpkin sugar embeds. Super cute!!
What Did My Candle Smell Like?
First impression… I wasn’t really sure what to think about this one. I didn’t really smell cake which is what I really wanted. I just smelled a sweet pumpkin scent. Lighting it and letting it burn awhile is the true test though.

That description sounds pretty yummy and after burning this candle awhile, all I have to say is WOW!! Lighting this candle and letting it burn for awhile brought out a totally different scent than what I smelled on cold sniff. This scent is AMAZING!! It was a moist and mouth watering pumpkin cupcake all the way with swirls of butter cream frosting. It was so warm and full of bakery goodness, I found myself stopping mid stride just to appreciate the delicious scent. What a surprise!
Strength – this candle gave a nice and steady medium throw. On a scale of 1 to 10, this was a 7+. It wasn’t super strong but you definitely notice it at all times. LOVED!!!!
How Did My Pumpkin Candle Burn?
PERFECT!! No wick issues, complete burn with no wasted wax. I think I even had to trim my wicks with this one. I usually never have to with other BBW candles.
Closing To My Candle Review
Oh my goodness, I loved this fragrance and will definitely be buying more. It had all the elements I love in a bakery scent… it was so warm and cozy and there was no mistaking the pumpkin which was nice. This scent smelled like rich and warm pumpkin cake loaded with sweet vanilla frosting. Mmmm!!!! If you love bakery scents, this is a must try.
