First impression of Pumpkin Butter & Biscuits:
Pumpkin Butter & Biscuits was the cutest candle!! I love Goose Creek’s pumpkin candles. They are so darling. The vessels are tall pumpkin shaped glass jars with the cutest matching lid. The lid even had a curly lifelike stem to complete the pumpkin theme. My Pumpkin Butter & Biscuits coloring was a dark burnt orange/brown and the aroma when I smelled the wax – very light. My 14 year old son took an interest in this candle as well and asked me to add this to my review. He said – 100% aesthetically pleasing in the looks department but you have to smell really hard to notice the scent. He also said it doesn’t smell like pumpkin at all which I proceeded to tell him it wasn’t supposed to. This scent is biscuits with pumpkin butter slathered on top. – – I agree with him however on the strength. 😊 Cold sniff, the aroma was very light. Hoping all the yummy flavors come to life once the candle is burning.

Oh yes, please! That description sounds wonderful. Crossing fingers that’s what I smell as soon as I light the wicks.
Let’s get going!
I lit my cute Pumpkin Butter & Biscuits candle in a small room to start out and it ended up being the perfect size room. Once the wicks were lit, it took not even 10 minutes to reach a full melt pool and the fragrance… sadly, I didn’t care for it at all. First, the aroma was very light reaffirming my choice to burn this candle in a small room. Second, the fragrance itself simply wasn’t my cup of tea. Just to be clear, it was authentic as far as the biscuits and molasses goes but those two combined smelled very strange to me. I never caught any vanilla, butter or pumpkin in the mix. Had I, I probably would have enjoyed this candle a lot more. I finally figured it out… there was no sweetness to this bakery scent and I think that’s what it lacked for me. That is a total personal preference though. If you love the smell of bread/biscuits, you may like this one.
Strength – this candle was very lightly scented for me. I burned this candle in my tiniest bathroom and the scent barely fragranced the space.
How Did My Pumpkin Butter & Biscuits Candle Burn?
This candle burned perfect. No wick issues. Clean burning from beginning to end.
Closing To My Review:
Even though Pumpkin Butter & Biscuits was not my cup of tea, it still might be yours. I didn’t hate this scent but as a bakery lover, it just wasn’t sweet enough for me. The candle itself… darling! It also glowed beautifully as it burned and was a pleasure to watch from start to finish.
Goose Creek’s pumpkin themed candles really are a treat to burn with plenty more scents to try. I’m not giving up!
