First impression of Pumpkin Apple:

I am officially knee deep in pumpkin scents and Pumpkin Apple may turn out to be one of my favorites this year. Smelling the wax, I smelled a spicy pumpkin with hints of fresh apple and it appealed to all my senses. Here is a fun fact I wanted to add… my 14-year-old son was sitting next to me as I started this review and he smelled the candle and said – “If Fall had a scent and color, it would be this candle. It smells sooo good!!” Methinks I have to agree. This candle screams fall!!

Here is the scent description for Pumpkin Apple:

Red Delicious Apple, Fall Pumpkin, Fresh Ground Cinnamon, Clove Buds.

Mmm!! I could smell it all. Red apples and pumpkin with lots of cinnamon. The clove was there as well but really light which I was happy with. I’m not a huge fan of clove.

Okay, I liked! Now let’s see how this candle performs!

I lit this candle in my master bedroom and came back 15 minutes later to the warm scent of spiced pumpkin and fresh apples. The best part, not one stood out more than the other with the spiciness of the cinnamon and clove a perfect complement in the background. This is the kind of scent you smell when walking into a country store on a crisp Fall day. The visual of fresh apples in a bin and big orange pumpkins sitting on the ground. The aroma of fresh baked apple and pumpkin pies on a table. The smell of cinnamon in the air. That’s what this candle smelled like to me and I enjoyed the heck out of it.

Strength – I would rate this candle an 8 out of 10 in a really large room, which isn’t bad. 10 in a medium to smaller rooms.

How did my Pumpkin Apple candle burn?

This candle burned great. No wick issues. In fact, I actually had to trim all three wicks a few times which I consider a good thing with this brand. It also burned clean and even from beginning to end. A+

Closing to my review:

Pumpkin Apple personifies the smell of Fall for me and I enjoyed this candle till the last drop of wax. My bedroom smelled like warm pumpkin filling and fresh apples with the perfect amount of spice. I may have to purchase two more candles and burn them simultaneously in my great room so the whole family can enjoy this one. It was that enjoyable. Definitely pick up this candle next time you’re shopping at a Bath & Body Works store. It’s a keeper.

And just an FYI… Bath & Body Works offers this candle in their own name as well as White Barn which is this one. I’m pretty sure they’re both the same scent.

Happy Fall!!
