First impression of Pistachio Cream Milkshake:
Pistachio Cream Milkshake is one of Swan Creek’s newer fragrances released in 2018. I’m not normally a huge fan of pistachio scents but I’ve been known to enjoy a few on occasion so I decided to give this one a whirl.

Roasted pistachios, whipped honeycomb, white rum and fresh cream are blended together for a unique, lush gourmand sensation that is smooth and sharp at the same time – perfect for any foodie!
Okay, that sounds pretty yummy! Smelling the wax, I detected a creamy pistachio with lots of cream, and as indicated in the description, there was a sharpness to it which has to be the pistachio. As a bakery lover, it does smell pretty yummy.
Time to start melting!
Melting Pistachio Cream Milkshake:
With Swan Creek’s Drizzle melts, one cube per melt session works great for me. Once the wax was melting, it took a good hour before I really started noticing the aroma which told me a lot – this scent was light. The fragrance… the pistachio definitely stood out the most to me. The creamy “gourmand” component was there as well but I think that’s what kept this fragrance subtle. I had this scent going almost all day and I even changed the wax to fresh cubes a few hours in and the aroma throughout my great room always remained subtle. Too subtle to really enjoy.
My next attempt was melting my last two cubes in a smaller room and that definitely gave better results. In a medium size room, the fragrance sharpened to a pistachio and cream that completely filled the room, but the sad part… now that I could smell it, it kind of smelled chemically to my nose and I didn’t like it.
In the end, I guess this fragrance and I were not meant to be. Should you give this scent at try or if you’re already tried it… what did you think? Did you have the same results as I did? Let us know.
