Peanut Butter and Jelly Goose Creek Candle Review

First impression of Peanut Butter and Jelly:
Call me silly but I was immediately attracted to the color of this candle. It was such a pretty and bright plum. The scent came second – Peanut Butter and Jelly – a classic kid’s sandwich just about everyone loves… me included. I also think this will be a hard scent to capture in wax but we shall see. I imagine peanut butter at the forefront with hints of grape jelly in the background. Let’s see if Goose Creek pulls it off.

Reminiscent of our favorite childhood afternoons, the nostalgic scent of creamy peanut butter is complimented by the sugary aroma of sweet concord jelly for a scent that will appeal to the big kid in all of us.
First impression when I smelled the wax… I noted grape jelly the most. No hints of peanut butter and if it was there, it was very light. We’ll see if it comes out once the candle is burning. And with that said, it’s time to find out.
I started this candle in my master bedroom and would say it took 20 minutes or so to reach a full melt pool. About an hour in, I ended up moving the candle to a medium size room where the scent throw was much better. The aroma… grape jelly and on the subtle side. I never really did detect peanut butter unless I was up close to the candle, and with my nose practically in the jar. That’s the only time I smelled it. Bummer!! To me, this fragrance was solid grape jelly all the way.
Strength – I would rate this candle a 5 in a large room. 7/8 in a medium size room. 10 in a small room.
How did my candle burn?
This candle burned fine. I did have to stay on top of wick trimming. If I didn’t, the flames would become torches. A gentle reminder to always watch your candles when lit. Not all wicks are created equal. ?
Closing to my review:
Peanut Butter and Jelly was such a cute candle and I really wanted to love it but, I just thought it was “okay” if that make any sense? Honestly, it needed more 
peanut butter. I liked it but it just didn’t wow me enough to purchase it again.
Goose Creek does have some amazing sales so if you decide to try this candle, look for a sale. That’s definitely the best time to purchase these candles.
