Intro To My Wax Melt Review

Summertime is fast fading away, and we here at Candlefind just can’t seem to give up the ghost. Luckily, the Lemonade Line at Candlemart was able to tickle my summer fancy – they have a variety of lemonade combos that sound absolutely delicious! The wax melts and candles are in the Hanna’s at Home line, including scents such as Old Fashioned Lemonade, Cherry Lime Lemonade, and Peach Lemonade. Yum! I picked a few wax melts in this line so that I could bask in some lemonade glory.

First Impression of My Wax Melt

I chose to melt Peach Lemonade first because it had THE most delicious scent on cold sniff. It smelled just like juicy peaches…right down to the fuzz! The cold sniff was fairly strong, so I was hopeful on this wax melt.

From Candlemart’s Website

I was a little surprised ready this scent description for a couple of reasons. One – where’s the lemonade? I would think some kind of lemon and sugar would be mentioned. And I really wasn’t getting all those notes on cold sniff. Still I knew that melting the wax might bring on a whole other layer, so I couldn’t wait to get this one going.

How Did My Wax Melt Perform?

I used my 24W wax melter in my large, open living area to start melting one “brick” of this wax. I was immediately blown away by the juicy peach notes I was smelling! It reminded me of hard peach candy. Just juicy and sweet. The combination of these fruity notes must have been the right key, because this scent smelled just like peaches to me. I did ding this one a little for authenticity because I never got the ginger or coconut notes. And hey – where’s the lemonade?

Still, this scent was fabulous. It scented up the large space it was in without difficulty. Not super duper strong, but strong enough to know it was there doing its thing. The scent wafted on down my hallways and on throughout the house. Simply wonderful!

I also used one brick in my bedroom with a 20W hotplate burner. It did a great job filling that room up with scent. I kept the same wax in my warmer for a couple of days. I did turn it on and off during that time, but it was still going strong when I decided to pour it out. Awesomeness!

Closing To My Wax Melt Review

This was a super fun and delicious scent that I’m glad I tried before the close of summer. I’m not a big seasonal melter, but something just felt right about melting Peach Lemonade this time of year. If you like the scent of peaches, this would be a great one to try. Don’t look for the lemonade, as I don’t think you’ll find it here. Just juicy, sweet, peachy goodness…and that was a-ok with me!
