First Impression:

First impression was amazing. The moment I spied these melts in the candle aisle at Walmart and then smelled the wax, I was sold and purchased a dozen or so that very day. I love coconut scents – by itself or in the endless blends you can create with it. My absolute favorite though are the coconut/fruity blends and oh my goodness…. Passion Fruit Coconut smelled AMAZING!! Imagine tart and refreshing passion fruit blended with sweet and cream coconut. That’s what this fragrance smelled like.

Here is the scent description I pulled from the label:

A delectable, sweet tropical combination.

Okay… not the most descriptive description and think they could have done much better it’s still accurate. The wax smelled like a tart tropical and tangy fruit with yummy and sweet coconut. Mmmm!!

Melting:

Have you ever held or seen a passion fruit? I’ve only seen pictures and honestly… they’re kind of ugly but boy do they smell good… at least the fragrances I’ve tried. They look fine on the outside but once you cut one open, it looks like slime and seeds on the inside.

I used the entire clamshell pack (3 cubes each) in two electric melters in my great room. It’s a huge room and 2 melters are definitely needed. Within minutes of placing the wax in both melters, the aroma became noticeable. Within 15 minutes, the sweet and tart fragrance traveled everywhere and it was so sweet and refreshing. The dominant scent for sure was the passion fruit… the coconut, very mild. I would have loved equal parts but I guess we can’t have it all. I still liked it.

Strength – on a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate this fragrance a 9. It was pretty strong. The aroma filled my great room, entire upper level of my home. Love the strength!

If you love fresh and tart fruity scents, this is a must try. This is a limited addition fragrance so not sure how long you can purchase it. So if you see it and want to try it, don’t hesitate for too long… it will be gone before you know it.
