If there’s such a thing as having a love affair with a candle, then it will undoubtedly be with Pacifica. You’ll just have to try one for yourself to understand the allure of these candles.  I was sent 10 different fragrances to try and I haven’t even burned them all yet but what I’ve tried so far, I’ve practically melted over.pacifica candles, pacifica, pacifica candle, candles pacifica, candle pacifica, pacificacandle, pacifica scented candles,pacificacandles.com,pacificacandle.com,pacifica candle

These candles are expensive, which is the main reason I’ve never taken the plunge and bought some.  I probably check out their website once a week, I go through the motions of everything I want to buy but when I get to the “complete order” part and see the total, DOH!, I chicken out every time.  In a nutshell, I’m not your average candle shopper because when it comes to candles, I want it all and have a hard time limiting myself. Horrible trait I know, but I figure one can have a worse addiction… mine happens to be candles.

All my Pacifica candles are unique and different so picking which one to burn first was basically a free for all.  It’s interesting when you find yourself standing in front of a pile of candles and think, “Hmmm, which one shall I burn today?”  I thought that only happened when deciding what to wear but apparently note, I just hope I’m not the only one with this affliction. 🙂 The fragrances I chose are all across the board but I figured since its summer, I should stick to fragrances that fit the season so I decided on Indochine & Tuscan Blood Orange to review first.

What Do My Pacifica Candles Look Like?
pacifica candles, pacifica, pacifica candle, candles pacifica, candle pacifica, pacificacandle, pacifica scented candles,pacificacandles.com,pacificacandle.com,pacifica candleMy candles are the 7oz round glass jars and soy wax.  They are very simple and attractive.  The wax color of Indochine is a light pale green; Tuscan Blood Orange is a deep, dark orange. (see photo to the left.)

How Did My Pacifica Candles Smell?

Indochine:
Indochine sounded exotic to me and I knew I definitely wanted to try this candle. When I smelled it for the first time, the scent seemed light and fresh, not a typical fruit scent but very unusual.  I really-really enjoyed this candle… it has a soft fruity smell that seemed very unique and perfect to burn in a smaller room. The scent description on Pacifica’s website for this fragranpacifica candles, pacifica, pacifica candle, candles pacifica, candle pacifica, pacificacandle, pacifica scented candles,pacificacandles.com,pacificacandle.com,pacifica candlece is:

“A fresh and vivid blend of cucumber juice, lime, and raw ginger, this Pacifica candle is a stirring, modern blend with distinct single notes – each hitting the senses individually.”

All of the above are blended pretty well because the only one I could distinctly make out was lime with zero tartness if that makes sense.  Mmmm does this candle smell good!  The throw is light and although I normally prefer a strong bold scent, the light throw on this candle seemed fitting for the delicate fragrance it emitted.  I could have sat in my bathroom all day and breathed in the beautiful fragrance. Fruit lovers out there, this candle is soft, delicate and beautiful for anytime of the year.  The scent throw did seem light so you’ll have to play it by ear on how big of a room you can get away with burning it in.

Tuscan Blood Orange:
So far, this scent is one of my favorites in the Pacifica fruit category.  I have always loved anything in the citrus family… Lemon, Orange, Grapefrui¦ you name it.  The majority of Orange candles I’ve tried remind mt,e of Orange juice which isn’t necessarily bad, this one was just very different. There is nothing bitter or tart to this fragrance that I could detect, instead only pure sweetness.  I have never even come across a real orange that smelled this good let alone a candle, which leads me to believe that a Tuscapacifica candles, pacifica, pacifica candle, candles pacifica, candle pacifica, pacificacandle, pacifica scented candles,pacificacandles.com,pacificacandle.com,pacifica candlen Blood Orange has got to be mythical because this candle blew me away.

The scent description on Pacifica’s website says there is a hint of Raspberry & Strawberry in this fragrance too and maybe that’s what made it so sweet.  I don’t know but whatever it is, it was awesome.  After this, it’s going to be mighty hard not comparing real Oranges to this candle fragrance.

I did find the scent throw on the light side so I did burn this candle in my master bathroom where the strength seemed perfect.  My only wish was that the scent throw could have been a little stronger because I would love to burn this fragrance in my great-room where I could bask in the aroma all day and night. Even so, I’ll probably purchase this candle in the future. Orange lovers, three words, oh – my – gosh!!!!

How Did My Pacifica Candles burn?

My candles burned evenly & completely to the bottom with no waste.

Overall Opinion of My Candles from Pacifica Candle Company:

I’m not sure if Pacifica is considered “aromatherapy” but I found traits very similar and that was warmth & tranquility.  There was something about these candles that I found very captivating.  I know I’ve found something special when every chance I get, I find myself closing my eyes and breathing in the fragrance of my candles because it smells so good.  I love that and find it very unique with aromatherapy and now with Pacifica.

Another appealing aspect of this line is that each fragrance is so distinctive with no duplication anywhere else, at least that I could find anyway.  What you’re getting is one of a kind and special and maybe that’s why they’re so pricey.  Weak that it may be, my one and only beef with this line is that I wish the fragrances were stronger as far as scent strength.  I like strong candles and the ones I’ve tried so far seemed light to me.pacifica candles, pacifica, pacifica candle, candles pacifica, candle pacifica, pacificacandle, pacifica scented candles,pacificacandles.com,pacificacandle.com,pacifica candle

I don’t know guys, yes, these candles are expensive but not just any candle can turn you into a puddle of relaxation and contentment the way these candles did for me. They may not be the most affordable candle line but they are definitely worth splurging on whenever your pocketbook can afford it.  When it’s anniversary, birthday’s or holiday gift giving time and your significant other doesn’t know what to get you, drop them some subliminal messages, whisper, Pacifica, Pacifica, Pacifica
