Introduction to My Mulberry Candle Review…
Pure Integrity candles are my favorite soy candle company, hands down. For those of you who prefer 100% soy and like scent throws that will knock your socks off, these candles are a great choice. One feature I love about this company is they’re now rating their scents from light to strong so you know exactly what you’re buying. As a huge online candle shopper, I really appreciate that since I’m buying candles based off company scent descriptions. So to me, that is a really nice feature.
My latest Pure Integrity experience is their Mulberry scent which is one of my all time favorite scents to burn in the winter. It’s fruity, tart, sweet and always seems to fulfill that fruity craving I get during the cold months.
What Does My 26oz Pure Integrity Candle Look Like?
I chose their large jars this time because they’re priced the best. These jars are beautiful. They are very simple frosted jars with natural wood lids. There is no label anywhere on the jar which is another feature I love about this company. My candle is also double wicked and the color of the wax a beautiful purple.
How Did My Mulberry Candle Smell?
I have to admit, I was a little “iffy” on this scent when I first smelled it. I absolutely love the fragrance of Mulberry. It’s a tart fruity berry scent that smells so wonderful to me and always puts a smile on my face when I smell it throughout my house. To me, most of the Mulberry candles I’ve burned in the past smell more like candy or a powdered punch drink than anything else. I like that and have to admit, that’s what I’m used to. This candle didn’t smell like that at all to me. Here is the scent description from Pure Integrity’s site:
“A wonderfully juicy fragrance of plump ripe mulberries. A favorite English sweet, fruity scent. Great for Holidays and year round! Bright and refreshing.”
One aspect you can always expect with Pure Integrity fragrances… they are dead on accurate. If they carry a Mulberry fragrance… it’s going to be as authentic as Mulberry can get. The owner Jeff extensively tests every scent Pure Integrity carries..
I lit my candle in my great-room early evening. The scent became noticeable right away and around 30 minutes later, I could smell the fragrance everywhere. The scent throw was strong and consistent as with all the candles I’ve tried from this company.
How did my candle smell?
This was the most unusual Mulberry scent I’ve ever burned. The ones I’ve tried in the past smell more like a tart candy… similar to sweet tarts. Pure Integrity’s version smelled like an actual piece of fruit… like slicing a real Mulberry open and smelling it. Pure Integrity has been so right on with most of their fragrances… I’m pretty sure that’s what I was smelling.Very interesting and different.
How Did My Mulberry Candle Burn?
My candle burned perfect. No wasted wax, no soot or smoke.
Overall Opinion of My Mulberry Candle from Pure Integrity:
I love Pure Integrity. I don’t think you can go wrong with any scents you try from this company. My Mulberry candle was definitely interesting and different. Not sure it’s going to be a staple scent for me but I did enjoy it. If you love fresh fruity.berry scents, this is your candle. It was quite unique.

I was really looking forward to my new Mulberry soy large jar after reading all the fabulous reviews.
The candle itself has a wonderful cold smell and burns famously. But unfortunately for me, this Mulberry jar has no throw, so I am a bit disappointed and sadden since I was really looking for a big throw as promised.

Bummer your candle had no throw. Placement plays a big role in scent throw. Try a smaller room and see if that makes a difference.
