I can’t even begin to tell you how sad I am how my Melon Margarita candle performed. I loved the fragrance and would have burned this one until the very end. The scent… amazing!
First Impressions of My Melon Margarita Candle
I am such a huge fan of everything melon so Melon Margarita from Mia Bella was a super easy purchase for me. But before I get into the fragrance itself, I first should say Mia Bella is a demonstrator based company so if you want to purchase these candles, you have to go through a demonstrator. It’s easy since there are a slew of websites online. Or, you may find a local rep in your area. The candle themselves… not the prettiest on the block but the sparkly wax and fragrance usually makes up for it.

Juicy and tart melon meets lots of sweet sugar. Yum!! Smelling the wax, my mouth was almost watering. It smelled like cantaloupe with a squeeze of something tart along with a dash of sugar. Salt? I wasn’t smelling salt but if that comes to life once the candle is burning… bring it on!!

How Did My Candle Perform?
I lit Melon Margarita in my master bedroom and ten minutes in… oh my goodness! Tart melon surrounded the candle. A good hour in and my entire bedroom smelled like Melon Margarita. Love the added tartness too. This scent kind of reminded me of a Jolly Rancher candy. Or I should say, this is what a “melon” Jolly Rancher candy would smell like if they made one. Loved it. The sad part… my candle was defective. Not even halfway down, the wicks sputtered out and no matter what I did, I couldn’t keep them lit. So, SO sad!!
Strength – I would rate Melon Margarita an 8 out of 10 in a really large room. 10 in medium to smaller rooms. Great scent throw.
How Did My Candle Burn?
As stated above, my Melon Margarita candle did not fare very well. The wicks had to be defective. A little over fourth of the way down, the wicks turned to little nubbins and then completely burned out. No matter what I did or tried, I couldn’t get them to relight.
Closing To My Margarita Melon Candle Review
I can’t even begin to tell you how sad I am how my Melon Margarita candle performed. I loved the fragrance and would have burned this one till the very end. The scent… amazing!! Sweet melt-in-your-mouth melon with the perfect touch of tartness and sugar. I may try it again down the road to see if I get a different result. We shall see.
