Intro To My Air Freshener Review
We recently reviewed the Mardi Gras New Orleans Parade candle from Destinations Scented Candles. I loved the scent from that candle, so I was curious about how I would like the Maui Pineapple Plantation room spray. The room sprays from this company come in a 4oz canister and follow the same theme and branding of their candles.
Ingredients: Filtered water, Polysorbate 40, fragrance oil.
Using My Air Freshener
The air freshener was in a sleek aluminum canister with a plastic pump sprayer on top. The weight and feel of the room spray was really good and easy to use. I didn’t have to press too hard on the pump to get out a good spray.
The scent itself smelled wonderful! Like a juicy pineapple – so fresh, sweet, and a bit citrusy. Looking at the scent description:

Every time I squirted this air freshener, I was right smack in the middle of a pineapple plantation – yum! The scent was very realistic…not a sticky, candy-like pineapple scent. This smelled like the real deal.
I used the air freshener around in several rooms and got that instant burst of scent. The scent was very powerful coming out of the container and then I would get lighter, lingering whiffs for several minutes. The scent would then dissipate, as would be expected with these air fresheners.
Given the ingredients, I did spray this on a throw pillow and on a bed pillow, testing it on a small area first. I didn’t have any damage to my fabrics. The scent lingered on these items and helped keep them fresh.
How Did My Air Freshener Perform?
The air freshener did a good job of scenting up a medium sized room with just a few sprays. It only took one spray on my pillows to get that lingering smell. It was super easy to use and the sprayer never got clogged up (a problem I have had with some other indie made air fresheners).
This was a small canister, but because it was so heavily fragranced I didn’t need to use much at one time to get my desired effect. That kept this bottle lasting a long time, making it a great value.
Closing To My Air Freshener Review
This air freshener worked as well as I would expect for a room fragrance spray to work. It is not an air purifier, but then, it doesn’t claim to be. It works well for a quick burst of scent if you want to freshen up a room or the office. Since I travel quite a bit, I will take a few with me in my car to freshen up those hotel rooms. It can also be used to freshen up some bed linens and fabric furniture, but I would test it on small areas first. The scent itself is DIVINE and one I’d love to have in candle form.
