First Impression of Marshmallow Buddies:
Marshmallow Buddies is the last Halloween candle I’m reviewing this Fall. Super cute candle! The wax was pure white and the label showed dollops of whipped marshmallows with three little black dots for their faces. They looked like little marshmallow ghosts. So darling!!

Too cute to eat…but sure smell delicious. The fluffiest marshmallows of them all!
Top: Fluffy Marshmallow, Warm Sugar
Mid: Marshmallow Vanilla Swirl
Base: Sparkling Sugar, Vanilla Bean
Here was yet another Halloween scent that had a perfume note to it on first sniff. That was my first initial impression when I smelled the wax – a subtle perfume mixed with a sugary sweetness. Hoping that goes away once the candle is burning because every element in the description sounds wonderful and that’s ultimately what I wanted to smell.
Let’s find out!
I decided to stay conservative and light Marshmallow Buddies in a small bathroom. I had a feeling this candle would be light and I was right. The strength was pretty subtle. The aroma… a sugary concoction of sugar and marshmallows along with that perfume component I first smelled on cold sniff. I have a feeling that was the “warm sugar” listed in the scent description. The rest was there as well… fluffy marshmallows, sweet sugar and creamy vanilla. On it’s own, the Warm Sugar smelled wonderful but it threw the rest of the scent for me. I was hoping for pure marshmallow and instead got marshmallow meets a light sprinkling of pink sugar perfume.
Strength – this scent was pretty light so I’m glad I burned this candle in a small bathroom. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate Marshmallow Buddies as follows. 3 in a large room. 5 in a medium and 6/7 in a small room.
How Did My Marshmallow Buddies Candle Burn?
This candle burned great. No wick issues. Clean burning from beginning to end. Very little wick maintenance too which was nice.
Closing To My Review:
Marshmallow Buddies was a fun Halloween candle but it was a little too light for me to really appreciate. If you give it a try, definitely stick to a smaller room to burn in it. As far as the fragrance itself, I did enjoy it. For me, it was sugary marshmallows meets hints of pink sugar.
Goose Creek has some amazing sales and I’m sure these Halloween candles will be on sale even more than they already are really soon with October coming to a close… keep a watch out for one. These candles fun and great scents to burn any time of the year… not just Halloween.
