First impression of Mango Sorbet Limoncello:

Boy, Better Homes sure is coming out with some great limited addition scents this year. The sad part is they won’t be around long so when you see a fragrance that interests you on a Walmart shelf, don’t wait, purchase them. Mango Sorbet Limoncello literally made my mouth water and I was so sure I would love it, I purchased a half a dozen right on the spot. It smelled like a mango lime smoothie loaded with cream and sugar. I wanted to drink it!!

I loved it! Now let’s see how it performs!

Melting:

I used the entire clamshell pack (3 cubes each) in two electric melters in my great room and waited for the magic to begin. 5 minutes in… my entire great room smelled like bubble gum rather than a mango and lime. Weird right? I thought I was losing it but every time I walked into the room, that’s pretty much what I smelled. Bubble gum. I even asked my kids what they thought and they agreed. Bubblegum all the way. My husband, he didn’t know what it smelled like but he liked it. Said it smelled fruity. 🙂

Strength – I would rate this fragrance a 10 out of 10 in any size room. It was a room filler and I loved every second of it.

Have you tried Mango Sorbet Limoncello yet? If you have, did it smell like bubblegum to you? I’m curious. I loved this scent and do plan on purchasing more next time I’m at Walmart. It was a fun and fresh scent. Definitely smell this one next time you’re shopping.

Happy melting!

  1. I recently bought the Mango Sorbet Limoncello wax because I love anything lemon. I didn’t see the Mango word at the top (these new glasses), haha), but melted them anyway. The throw is amazing. I have a living room, kitchen great room with a half wall between. It smelled up all of this plus the 2 back bedrooms and the master bath. I didn’t smell bubblegum at all. I mostly smelled lemon with a slight off smell (which was the mango….I don’t like mango). The off smell wasn’t unpleasant, but since I do not like mango, I didn’t enjoy that part of the scent……However, I would repurchase again, because I love lemon anything. I wonder if the bubblegum scent smells like mango-limoncello….haha

    • Hi Angie. It’s funny what we each smell when burning/melting wax. I am a HUGE lemon fan too! Next time you’re at Walmart and you see Meyer Lemon Basil from Better Homes… GET IT!!! It’s one of the freshest lemon’s I’ve smelled in a long time. I loved it.
