Introduction to my Kringle Candle Co review:
There are exciting things happening at Kringle Candle Co. If you haven’t yet checked out their website, now is the perfect time to give it a look. Kringle Candle Co. has totally revamped their website with cool new search features and gorgeous new products. The website was good before, but now it’s out of this world! You can feel the excitement when you visit their online store. The site itself is professionally laid out with beautiful product photographs and tantalizing scent descriptions. The most sensational thing for me was finding all of the different types of scented products and the new candle collections available online. I don’t even know where to begin… that’s how thrilled I am with this new website. They’ve got floating candles, new ramekin candles, two different styles of pillars, candle accessories, air fresheners, tealights, votives… basically everything I look for at a candle store. With the detailed pictures and descriptions, the website experience
feels as satisfying as walking into an actual physical store. There is even an interactive search feature that is like having a sales associate right there on the page. You type in what type of scent you’d like, which area of your home it will be for and the approximate size of your room and voila! You’re directed to the collection of candles that will best suit your needs. It’s amazing!
It’s not just the website itself that is new. There are also new candle collections that show great promise. You’ve got to check out their new Gentlemen’s Line of masculine looking frosted jars. The scents are numbered 1 through 12 instead of any froo froo scent names. There are ramekin candles that come in reusable dishes, and the Crystal Pillars look spectacular. I am surely looking forward to ordering a few of these newest products, but for now I am happy to have had the opportunity to sample from Kringle Candle Co.’s Classic Apothecary Collection.
What do my candles look like?
You know the classics never go out of style, and these apothecary jars are a shining example of timeless elegance. The tall 15.5 oz apothecary jars are clear glass cylinders. The jars have wide, solid bases and flat glass, sealing lids. Each candle has a large sticker on the side. The stickers looked very pretty on the jars while I displayed them unburned. After I burned the candles down a bit, I found the size of the sticker labels detracted from the beauty of the lit candles, so I simply peeled them off. The paraffin candle wax was white.The Wax Potpourri, or melts were individually shrink wrapped and labeled with the Kringle Candle Co. name, the scent name, and a photo that matched the jar candles. The melt wax was white.
How did my candle from Kringle Candle Co smell?
Mango
“Mango’s green top notes blend with a hint of citrus followed by lush honeyed-pear succulence.”
My first sniff of Mango smelled more like a grapefruit scent. I had to double check the label to make sure of what I had. This scent had a citrusy sharp edge. If you like a crisp, fruity, tart fragrance, this is a must try. Mango was more complex than the name implied. There was a lot going on in that jar, with the mango, citrus and pear. The fragrance had a warmth to it that was interesting… almost autumnal.
It took a while for me to warm up to the tartness of the scent, but after a while I really began to appreciate how different it was from my usual go-to favorites.
Raspberry Jam

When I was a child, my mother used to preserve her own berry jams and jellies. The smell of this raspberry jam scented candle took me right back to Mom’s kitchen. When I took the top off of the container candle, it was like popping the seal on one of my mother’s jars of homemade jam. Yummy! It was a sweet raspberry preserves scent… not to be confused with raspberry vanilla, which is a different scent altogether. Raspberry Jam smelled fresher and more edible than most of the raspberry scents I’ve tried before.
Raspberry Jam by Kringle Candle Co. was a true-to-life match for the real thing. I’m so happy when a scent smells authentic and this one surely did. The throw from this candle was medium. I could smell it within a few feet of the jar when I had it in an open area. In a smaller room, the scent was even more noticeable.
Beachside
“A harmonious union of cocoa butter, salt spray and sun-kissed ozone notes.”
This was a soft, well rounded scent. It was predominantly an ozone / ocean scent. It was a clean scent without smelling like soap. Hallelujah. The cocoa butter softened the scent into a soothing beach paradise, and I smelled a touch of floral too, although no floral was listed in the official description.I tried this jar in the powder room and I ended up keeping it in there most of the time. The scent filled the small room and transformed it from a kid zone bathroom into a tropical retreat. Okay, so the kids towels were still on the floor and the cap was still off the toothpaste, but at least it smelled like a tropical retreat. I only needed to close my eyes.
How did my candles from Kringle Candle Co burn?
These candles gave a clean, soot-free burn. There was barely any wick trimming required. I don’t know how Kringle Candle Co. did that, but it was a noticeably cool feature of these jars. One of the jars had a thin bit of wax on the sides by the time it burned to the end. This was a jar that I lit and relit several times over the course of the testing. The jars that I burned for longer periods had clean glass. I found the melts to have a tad stronger throw than the candles. I melted them in a standard 24 watt electric melter and got good longevity out of them. I found the melt scent authenticity to be exactly like the candles.
Closing to my review…
I enjoyed all three of the candles along with the melts I tried. Raspberry Jam was my personal favorite, probably because it took me back to a wonderful memory.
