I have to say… I am super picky when it comes to pumpkin pie fragrances. SUPER PICKY! I prefer authentic pumpkin pie scents that are not too spicy but a scent that has all the ingredients you would smell in an actual pumpkin pie. I’ve found that’s not easy to find in a candle. Most pumpkin pie scented candles I’ve tried are always more of a pumpkin spice, heavy on the spice and clove rather than a warm bakery type pie. Either that or plain pumpkin pie filling type scents with little else. That’s why the Madison Valley Pumpkin Pie candle has become one of my favorites.

Packaging/Presentation
Madison Valley has a wide array of candle jars and even wax melts. This particular candle was their large apothecary style jar with a wooden lid. The wax was a caramel brown color and there were two wicks. The label is large and easily shows the scent name and company name on front. You could remove the label, if you wanted, but it would take a little bit of work. Overall, this was a clean jar look without a lot of fanfare. It should fit in well to just about any decor.

As soon as I popped off the lid off my Madison Valley Pumpkin Pie candle and smelled the wax, I smiled from ear to ear. YUM!! This candle smelled dead on accurate. Seriously!! My mouth was watering. Warm pie crust, pumpkin pie filling, cinnamon, nutmeg and whipped cream wafted all around me and it was to die for!!!

Yep… pumpkin pie all the way and trust me when I say you can smell it all down to the finest detail. It’s like sticking your nose in a real freshly baked pumpkin pie. Love, love, LOVE that!!
I decided to go big and light this candle in my master bedroom so I could fully enjoy this candle. Crossing fingers it would be a room filler. Once the wicks were lit, it took a good 20 minutes to reach a full melt pool and the aroma…. Mmm… a yummy pumpkin bakery all the way. The pumpkin puree dominates with lots of flakey pie crust with the perfect touch of pumpkin pie spices; not too much spice but just right. The Madison Valley Pumpkin Pie candle was an excellent pumpkin pie fragrance that smelled very realistic!

Strength – I would rate this candle an 8 out of 10 in a really large room. 10 in medium to smaller rooms. Great scent throw!!

Performance
This Madison Valley Pumpkin Pie candle burned flawlessly. It burned clean and evenly from beginning to end. I did have to trim the wicks before each lighting, but that’s normal. The candle was a slow burner and lasted a really long time, making this a value purchase, for sure!
Pumpkin pie lovers…I highly recommend the Madison Valley Pumpkin Pie candle all the way. It fits the bill in every category I look for when it comes to pumpkin pie candles. Presentation was great and it smelled dead on accurate.
