First Impressions of My Lemon Zest Candle
I have no idea why it’s taken me so long to purchase this aromatherapy candle. Lemon Zest? It had my name written all over it. Add aromatherapy and with the title “Energy” and I was triple sold.

Made with lemon essential oil and ginseng.
Mmmm!! I love aromatherapy candles and when you smell the wax, you can tell right away. The wax smelled soothing and a perfect sweet lemon to boot. I was smiling with my eyes already closed and hadn’t even lit the wicks yet.
Now let’s see if this candle is as relaxing and soothing as I’m hoping it will be.
How Did My Candle Perform?
I lit this candle in my master bedroom and waited for the magic to begin. 20 minutes in and I was in heaven. The aroma wafting through my bedroom and open bathroom was a very fresh and soothing lemon. The kind that still smells clean and fresh but it also smelled soothing and relaxing. Was it my imagination since “aromatherapy” was tied to the name? I wonder about that sometimes but in this case, this fragrance did smell pretty darn relaxing. Every time I walked into my bedroom, I stopped to take deep breathes of this fragrance in pure appreciation. I don’t do that very often
Did I smell ginseng? Hard to say since I don’t know what that smells like. I looked it up and it’s a Chinese herb that smells woody. I didn’t smell wood notes in this scent, just a sweet lemon with soothing properties. So as far as this scent goes… just imagine a really soothing lemon that wasn’t zesty at all. It was sweet but not bakery sweet… just soothing sweet, like a lemon oil. I hope that doesn’t confuse you. LOL! Just go smell it next time you’re at a Bath & Body Works store to see for yourself. You’ll see what I mean.
Closing To My Lemon Zest Candle Review
I thoroughly enjoyed Lemon Zest and plan on purchasing a few more to keep on hand. I’m not sure if this candle is made from 100% pure essential oils but I still thought it was a decent fragrance and an excellent and soothing lemon. Give it a try if you love sweet lemon scents.
If you don’t see this candle listed on Bath & Body Works site, try one of their stores. They don’t always carry every scent on their website. I don’t know why that is.
